The fact that it was deceived with balcony , but it didn’t have it , had a window to the street in between Floors, the window didn’t have a curtain .

At first they wanted to place us in an ugly room With not view until I showed my reservation and then I received a room with balcony. Front desk was not too friendly or welcoming.

Location is amazing… right in the heart of Puebla. Plenty to see and do!

There was almost no water-pressure in the shower. It was like walking under a dripping sink.

No AC or cool air flow system to keep room cool during the night; had a fan, but wasn’t enough, plus added noise. cold shower of 10 minutes before warm water kicked in. Had a very pleasant conversation with lobby receptionist during a phone call before the line was disconnected; then, later tried to connect again, and it was a different receptionist not too polite regarding transportation manners to the hotel.

Mariachi band waking us up at 7-8 am on a sunday. Random ledges and steps you can fall on, such as a 15cm step into the bathroom. Some other minor things: Bed was way too soft for a comfortable sleep. Some ventilation/water pump machine running outside constantly. Hot water taking for ever to arrive at the shower + it's difficult to have the shower at a reasonable temperature. It either burns you or it's cold. Light switch for the bathroom is no where near the bathroom - took us forever to find it.

Nice cheap room at the centre of the city.

when large tours come in, when they leave in morning staff has to make sure they don’t disturb everyone else. yelling and screaming and singing 630am is brutal

We had reserved two deluxe rooms which were shown on the website as having twin beds but turned out to have one queen sized bed each. The price quoted for the two rooms at the time of booking was approximately 8,500 pesos, but we had to pay 10,500 at check in. Our other main problem was with the bathroom. The plumbing reflected the age of the building. The toilet did not flush well and the tank didn't fill properly. Both of these problems were eventually fixed by the maintenance crew who arrived promptly after we called reception. We had no hot water on one morning, apparently because one of two re-circulation pumps had broken, and certainly there was hot water the following morning.

This is an older hotel extremely well placed at one corner of the Zocalo. The staff are friendly and helpful. However it can be noisy at night if they have to clean up after an event in the plaza. There are numerous good restaurants nearby.

From the two rooms booked one of them ran out of hot water which was resolved the next day. In the other room we had a clogged toilet, informed the front desk but nothing was done later in the day informed front desk again. We were given the plunger to resolve the issue ourselves.

Hotel is really well located. Family room okay but a little stuffy and dark up in the loft. They helped us get a taxi quickly to the bus station when our Uber let us down - thank you for this!
