We had a wonderful stay at Casa Tortugas! All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was very large and comfortable with a great kitchen, lounge space and bathroom. The pool at Casa Tortugas was absolutely stunning! We spent a lot of time there as the pool and pool area was perfect. We enjoyed a couple of drinks on the rooftop bar at sunset, which was also beautiful. We were within walking distance of a lovely beach and transport was very easy to get to other beaches and restaurants etc. What we loved most about this hotel was the small, family feel. It was very different to some of the huge chains that are in the Hotel Zone in.m Cancun, we loved it! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We loved the large apartment size, it made our stay of 6 nights so comfortable. The coffee and pastry in the morning was a lovely surprise and got us started for the day and the cocktails on the rooftop at night was a great way to finish the day! Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Not many options to eat nearby. Also need to cross a very busy/difficult road to get to the beach.

Beautiful place - impeccably maintained, lovely chilled out pool area, very nice building. However the highlight may have been the rooftop. Do not miss cocktails at sunset up there from 6:30 - it was one of the most relaxed, beautiful places I've ever had a cocktail. Staff also great generally but especially the bartender at the rooftop.

Truly a hidden gem and refreshing to find a boutique hotel among all the giants. Great location across from the ferry to isla mujeres. exceptional pool, large rooms with full kitchens, and stunning rooftop. Kind and helpful staff. Wifi was strong and water provided. Would.come back.

If you wanted to eat out the options were very limited. A taxi or long walk would be required outside of the local restaurant (which was lovely). Beach opposite the hotel isn’t the nicest in cancun.

Room was lovely and big with good facilities which was fantastic. Pool was a nice size, quiet and with plenty of seating. Very handy location for the ferry to isla Mujeres.

-staffing issues (there was no one at the check-in desk at time of check in and no one to let us in when we arrived -problem with communication regarding airport transfer scheduled through the hotel (the driver had an incorrect name on the reservation) -simple/inexpensive furniture (some was damaged) but it was functional and we had everything needed -nicer seafront beaches are further away and must be reached by car/taxi/bus -no parking

-located on the lagoon side of Cancun -private, quiet, away from crowds -quaint, no neighbor noises, cool architecture -resident crocodile and iguana who sometimes visit -short walk to Oxo and pharmacy -short walk to the ferry station -short walk to Krudo (yummy restaurant) -nice pool -very clean (probably the cleanest place we stayed while in Mexico) -pleasant staff, received invitations for free coffee/tea

USD to MXN conversion was abnormally high. They charged conversion at 20MXN for 1 USD which I didn’t notice as I was tired. They should clarify that paying in USD is better. If paid in MXN we paid much higher rate

Television was a little hinky, but we didn't really need it and so it didn't matter to us.

Very quiet location, in the day and night time, away from Cancun's bustle but still very central. With the thick walls and layout, we heard and saw almost no-one else there. Apartment had a great view of the lagoon. Decent breakfast and coffee on the rooftop with a fabulous view, a nice start to each busy day. Parking good. Great to be able to use the kitchenette, especially as we had a toddler travelling with us. Good shower and amenities. Good communication with the property throughout.

Nothing not to like but when we stayed the upstairs bar was closed for maintenance which was a shame.

Good location slightly behind the main hotel strip road, so not exposed fully to the thunderous traffic noise on Kukulcan. Staff were very welcoming and friendly . The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The pool are is really nice and the whole property looks like it does in their photos as advertised!

Perfect match for your stay, vacation, tours, very friendly staff and the amazing view! We were allowed to use the whole accomodation after check out, we were even allowed to take a shower before leaving to the airport after using the pool! Very friendly family staff! The room was much bigger than expected and the kitchen had all the items we needed, there was even a large water dispenser in the room which was great! The sofas and beds are super comfy and the aircon was great. The view over the pool and lagoon was fabulous. It was a real treat to be here! It's also only across the road from the beach and the ferry pick up which made getting to Isla Mujeres soooo easy! Thank you so much to the team there!
