This modest property is an oasis from the city. We were happy to find it was a B&B with some long term mature guests. Breakfast is prepared to order, al fresco on the terrace and the garden courtyard pool is perfection 👌

The air conditioning was not working during out stay and it was between 95 and 100 degrees every day. It was a bit difficult sleeping at night. The overhead fan helped. But we could have used another standing fan. The air conditioning did come on the last day at 3 pm - hooray!

The outdoor area with the pool and breakfast terrace was absolutely beautiful. Loved swimming every day. Liked the availability of beverages for a fee.

The property was very well kept. There was an issue with the power while we were there causing our air conditioning to go out. The next day they switched us to another room with working air conditioning. Staff was able to help arrange taxis for us. Appreciated the water and coffee & breakfast was very good! Tip: book a room with an outside facing window so you can open the windows to cool it down.

Due to extreme an extreme heat wave we were without AC. The staff did the best they could to accommodate us.

Unfortunately although there was a fan in our room, there was not enough power for the air con, and this meant that our last 2 nights in the country were quite unbearable (in 34*) as we could not get air into our room. We were on the first floor and then also had to go up a separate steep flight of steps to the breakfast area.

The location was excellent-we were a few blocks away from the centre and felt safe enough to walk in. The pool was small and intimate which meant we could chat with the other guests. Breakfast was a delicious plate of fresh fruit and a freshly prepared omelette.

Lovely garden around the pool, a great relief from the heat. A choice of 2 hot breakfast prepared to order every day. Staff courteous and helpful. Comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen. We walked to all the sights.

Upstairs king beds aren’t as comfy as downstairs doubles but they’re ok. Coffee maker at breakfast never worked right. Could use a little more variety and way better coffee at breakfast.

The layout of the gardens, pool, and rooms by the pool- delightful. The pool was a great way to relax after a long day out. Most staff were lovely and helpful. Insect screens were a plus as they had to manage the wasp population. Breakfast terrace so peaceful with little spiral stair you could use.

We had to leave at 7am for our return flight. They promised someone would be there at reception @ 7am to let us out of the car park. No one was there by 7:15, so we had to get one of the breakfast ladies to unlock the car park and manually push the huge iron gate open. Reception is supposed to be manned 7am-11pm - but I guess that is not guaranteed..

Lovely tranquil hotel in the centro. Pool, air conditioning and free parking in the centre of the old town.

Breakfast staff, as well as all other staff, were friendly and courteous. The pool was clean and inviting. The room was simple, clean, not overly-decorated.

The very soft bed and bare bulb lighting in the room. The staff member playing basketball every afternoon at 5pm while customers were relaxing by the pool, or in their room, that was not good! Disrespectful to the guests.

The pool was very nice and a great way to relax in the hot afternoons. Good loungers! The breakfast was made to order and fast each morning with two choices. We booked a tour through the office that was great.

One of our favourite accommodations we've stayed while backpacking - the pool area was lovely as was the breakfast. The staff were great too and allowed us to check in early. Beds were comfortable too, rooms were very tidy.

The hotel is a beautiful space to relax in. We were able to get some relief from midday sun and all the walking we did by the pool, or eat in the solarium. It was quiet in the hotel (except you could hear the echo of folks checking out in the morning). Close enough to walk to everything, yet out of the way so we had peace and quiet.

Breakfast could have used a little more effort

The pool was a welcome place to cool off and relax in the heat of the day. Breakfast was adequate. The bungalow room was quiet, private and well appointed. We appreciated how respectful and quiet the scene is there. This is not a party hotel. The locations was perfect for us, not too far from the center of things but just a 10-20 min walk to many of the sites we wanted to see. Would stay again as we visit Oaxaca

Everything was great.

Great location, a short walk to the main part of the town. A few cut coffee shops etc close by. The pool area is spectacular, and is in an old colonial courtyard. The building is well preserved and has a gorgeous atmosphere. The breakfast each morning is beautiful and served on a terrace overlooking the pool. Rooms are nicer than the pictures and staff are extremely helpful. My Mam said it’s the nicest hotel she’s ever been to.
