Lovely, large, clean cabin with an uninterrupted view of the lake. We enjoyed resting in the hammock on the porch in the evenings to watch the sunset. Friendly owners.

The family is so kind. They made sure all your needs were met. And the food was excellent. We had planned to try a different restaurant the second night, but the food was so delicious, we stayed at the cabanas for all our meals.

Though food was good, there is a limited menu. But if you are staying just a few nights, it's fine.

Room overlooked the lake. Room was spacious. Had hot water. Family who runs it are wonderful. Restaurant on site.

the cabin is super cute, spacious and the view is awesome! good wifi as well. the family has also a restaurant where you can order something from a limited menu. no drinking water available.

The location was beautiful. The room itself was very cute. Toiletries provided. There is a restaurant too, unfortunately we were not feeling well and didn't get to try it :( Wifi was available.

Great cabanas with a beautiful view towards the lake. The family is super friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home. We also ate here one night and the food and hot chocolate was delicious. Would recommend!!

There was a problem with the hot water at the shower.

The place is amazing. It has one of the most beautiful views i have seen. The staff was very nice and friendly, and tried to help us with everything we needed.

The only issue is that after a strong rain on our first night, we were without power for around 8-10 hours and the wi-fi never worked again until we left. We slept 2 nights here.

Very friendly host that is also in charge of their restaurant. You have a few options for eating and restaurant is open all day. Location is really great, right in front of the lake and walking distance from the International Lake, where you can cross into Guatemala. It has wi-fi (not very reliable) and hot water (enabled upon request).

It's a great accommodation with an amazing location. It's simple, but absolutely sufficient. You can also buy wood for a campfire directly in in front of your cabin near to the lake. If you want to enjoy the quiet of the national park, it's the perfect place to stay!

We loved everything about this property. Do not hesitate for a second to book here. The family who look after the property are so lovely and hospitable, the restaurant food on site is delicious and we loved the campfire they put on for us with marshmallows on sticks. The location can’t be beaten for a weekend exploring the Montebello lakes - definitely do the tuk tuk tour of the lakes and the raft on lake pojoj. we wish we could have stayed for longer, thank you!!

There was a group of people making a party with a lot of noise. But it was on another property. But still they talked to the receptionist of the other property. That was really nice of them, to make that effort. So actually, this is a good point :). But just keep in mind that on the weekends, there might be big groups of people having a party somewhere around. Also, the Wi-Fi wasn't great. But we had Netflix :).

The cabana was really lovely! It was spacious with a lovely terrace with view on the lake. We spend some time relaxing in the hammock. Also, we slept in the biggest bed we saw in Mexico. Even for us tall Dutchies it was huge! The bathroom was big and clean, and there was plenty of hot water. Netflix! We didn't expect that at all, so that was a nice bonus.

I liked absolutely everything! I literally have nothing negative to say. I felt safe and comfortable. I was so worried about getting there as I was a solo woman traveler but it’s pretty straight forward and locals where very helpful. Don’t expect to have service if you don’t have a local sim being that you’re so close to Guatemala. The hosts were spectacular! I felt very welcomed and at home. The fried fish from their restaurant directly from the lake is delicious and the beans cooked in a pot were just as great. The rooms were spacious and the balconies facing the water made waking up at the crack of dawn enjoyable. Always had hot water available when showering, rooms were clean, and cool! It gets cold at night but there was enough extra blankets to stay warm. I’d stay here over and over if I could! @travelingWithAYD on ig to follow my travels
