There was a sewer smell coming out of the shower drain that was pretty gross. Warm water was limited, but given how warm it was that wasn't a deal breaker. When we arrived, the pipe coming out of the sink to the wall was disconnected so there was sand and water on the floor, but they fixed it and cleaned it up the next day.

Great location, right on the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room had a balcony. An AC and fan were in the room so you could choose how you wanted to manage the temperature. Beds were comfortable. They gave extra towels. The view was nice. They had a water dispenser in the lobby and that was appreciated. Very centralized and easy to get to food etc. Close to the ADO bus station!

It’s dated. Needs some work. Pool was not clean. There is no hot tub like the ad says.

Location was great. Beach is wonderful. Cleaning lady was very good.

I stayed in a beach pink flamingo room. It’s cute but looks oldish. Felt that it could of been cleaner. Bed was a little hard and didn’t have a comforter just very thin blankets. I liked it but thought there was better places to stay on the beach for similar price. I also didn’t like that they lock the entrance to the beach at 7 pm which seemed a little early.

I love that this place is right on the beach. It has a great view of the ocean. Balcony has chairs to sit and enjoy the view and there is a very nice breeze. The architect of this hotel made it so the breeze runs through everything very nicely. Love that they provide beach chairs for you to sit at throughout the day. It’s another big reason I selected this place. The pool it’s nice to dip into after the ocean though it’s small. They also had hot water.

Very loud music from next door. Bedding and linins were in rough shape. With a few bucks invested in new towels and touch-ups this place would be amazing. Still a good value.

The hotel itself needs work. The outside facilities are tired and I wouldn't use the pool.

Superb location and vista. Make sure to get an ocean front room. Comfortable bed. Excellent value. If you're looking for a cheap, no frills hotel right on the beach in the best spot, then give this place a try.

Hotel was very dirty. Starting from the main hall and the staircase where you could find a clumps of hair or a used face masks and other rubbish to a room which had a rusted sink, ROTTEN pillows, tiny bugs on one of the walls and was not being clean properly. The room service ladies were coming everyday, but they could not even brush the sand out of the room and often were leaving huge piles of sand in the room. Not to mentioned that the balcony was only cleaned once and the sand that we brought from the beach on the first day, has been left there until one day before the one we were leaving on. Even the trash that was left next to a bin as there was no more space to left it inside, was not taken away... The safe that was located in the wardrobe was broken and had no lock lol so it was impossible to use it. The room was looking good in the first sight but then it was unraveling all the mentioned surprises. Pool that the hotel offered to it's guest was not used by us as to be honest it didn't look clean enough to use it, especially after seeing all the above described stuff.

The location is great. Hotel is situated just off the main Street in Playa del Carmen. People working in the reception was nice and friendly. As we have had a room with the seafront view we`ve also had free sunbeds on the beach. WiFi worked very well.

The bedrooms were clean and comfy beds, some of the bathrooms didn’t have the appliances, but were clean. The lockbox wasn’t working. The Hotel has a great location and for the price was good, I would say the hotel could be better if the common spaces would be renewed.

Cleaning could have been better in the room, common areas, and pool. Pool area was not well maintained so we didn't use it.

Beautiful location right on the beach. It's nice to be right off 5th avenue but not hear the full extent of the partying/clubs at night (only the faint thump of music). We had a great view of the ocean. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well.
