Nothing that we didn’t like. Restaurant staff are lovely although a little disorganised at times especially when breakfast time is busy - at times not knowing which food is for which table. We had a room that was supposed to have a lake view but it was right next to the kitchen & we could barely see the lake from it.

The property is right on the lagoon - really peaceful & perfect for relaxing & unwinding. The sunrises here are spectacular. Staff very helpful especially the bar staff.

Great location, quiet with one of the best view of Bacalar. If you can book the room with the view on the laguna, do it (a bit more expensive tough). Great staff and nice little bar and restaurant. That’s a no brainer: I would definitely go back there if I come back to Bacalar. I wish I could have stayed longer there!

Honestly, I can't fault this hotel or the restaurant (Raiz) at all. It's very rare that I can say this given all of my travels across the world. From the minute we booked, we had very friendly and clear communication with the hotel staff. My husband and I arrived early, but that was no problem; we were able to get into our room earlier than expected with no problems at all. The hotel is very well kept, the room was super clean, spacious, and just like new. The bed is comfortable, and the shower pressure is the best we have had our whole trip so far. Special shout out to the staff at restaurant RAIZ, which is within the hotel complex. From day one they remembered our favourite drinks, the foods we liked, how much hot sauce I liked on my eggs and in my spicy margaritas (which was ALOT mind you). They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after at all times and the food is all delicious! I wish I could have more of Pablo's extra special hot sauce and take it home with me! We have nothing but praise for this whole establishment and the staff and would 100% recommended to stay here and we will definitely come back again.

This is a nice new hotel right on the lake shore. It isn't fancy or luxurious but it is new and clean. The staff is exceptional. They are always available to help with questions or booking a tour. The included breakfast was very good as well. Again, not fancy, but good portions and well prepared

We ended up extending our stay because we loved the hotel so much! Upon checking in we were blown away by the amazing view. Our room was so convenient it was steps away from the lagoon. The entire facilities were spotless and the staff were very warm and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Loud music during the day, begins quite early during breakfast, which we could hear in the room. Breakfast options could be diversified, at the moment just a variety of egg dishes.

Spacious clean room. Lakeview with good sunbeds. Nice staff. Fixed the AC the same day after reporting it :) Lunch, try the avocado toast.

Great Hotel! The Hotel Is very clean and very beautiful. The staff Is exceptionally nice, very helpful. It Is a Little Bit far From the Center but you can take a taxi or Walk 30 minutes. Breakfast is simple, but you can additionally Order a la carte which is very Good. I would definetly come again!

The location of this hotel is excellent! It's right on the lagoon and directly across from Isla de los Pajaros. (For you birders that plan to go during migration, this is a great spot.) The hotel has a bar and restaurant on site. Since they only opened a few weeks ago the restaurant only offers breakfast (excellent!) and lunch (didn't have it), but will soon offer dinner service as well. The staff at this hotel and restaurant were all friendly, accommodating, and super helpful. Carlos (owner/manager) helped us with booking a private lagoon tour, made recommendations for restaurants, and was super attentive. The rooms are a good size and offer plenty of space for working or lounging. The facilities are new and everything was in working order and clean.

Very small room with nowhere to put anything. No drawers or wardrobe just 4 hangers on a rod on the wall. Bathroom very small too with no surfaces/drawers to put toiletries. Room was described as having a terrace which it didn't.

Staff in the front was not courteous. I got charged for a pillow cover for hair dye stain, that’s not the issue it’s the way it was handled. Paying nearly 200 a night it felt so cheap to be chased for 5 dollars. Breakfast is very basic.
