The only slight fault if I had to find one is that the room didn't have much natural light, but that didn't bother us at all. The room was cool and there was air conditioning.

Lovely hotel, with a fantastic host. Best coffee we'd had in Mexico. The pool was great (we mostly had it to ourselves). Comfortable bed, lovely room, nice decor. The location was also good, walkable distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel. The owners and their staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They make the best latte in town and serve it to you complimentary.

It was in an excellent location. Close to all the restaurants and only a few blocks from the Centro. Near all the activities in Mérida. Gino and his wife Daniella were excellent hosts and catered to our every need.

Nothing I liked everything

Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, in Mexico, EVER. Everything is high quality like you would have in your own home. The sheets, the comforters, the pillows. It’s is a beautiful old colonial property, completely redone with modern amenities and stylish, minimal but comfortable design and furnishings. It’s pet friendly and the people owning and working here are very kind and accommodating. I stayed in 3 different rooms over 6 nights and I hated to leave. I am an interior designer, I am particular about everything and I thought this place was wonderful. Great Job!

Fantastic hotel with well designed rooms - especially the bathrooms. Close to the centre of Merida without any of the noise. Staff cannot do enough for you. I changed hotels to Acqua in Bocca as I wasn’t happy with my initial hotel choice and this was the best decision! Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is amazing. Beautiful calming decor. Convenient location close to shops and restaurants. Lovely large room with excellent shower. Great swimming pool area. Efficient wifi. Best coffee we've experienced in Mexico on request. Numerous TV chanels (in English!). And incredibly helpful friendly staff. Just book it!

WiFi was just not great. It was evident that several services, like a bar and restaurant, were not operational for the low period. And there was construction going on at the hotel, which didn’t make our experience worse.

The location is very central to most sites. Street parking nearby. Very pet friendly. The rooms are large and quiet, cozy. Very comfortable. Although the photos make it look dark, there is plenty of light in the right spaces. There is ample space to hang and store clothes and seating for 2 guests. The bed was superbly comfortable. Massive shower.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The staff is amazing! We have been traveling full time for the last 2 years and we’ve never been treated as well in any other place as we were at Acgua In Bocca. The service is amazing! We were continuously offered free gourmet coffee (lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, et.) and free bottles of water. The coffee is excellent! The room and bed were very clean and comfortable. Excellent wifi. We would definitely stay here again!

I could not recommend this hotel more. Everything was impeccable! Room was large, super clean, pool area was amazing and quiet. Also, the personnel did everything to make us feel at home. Not usually one to review every single place I stay but this place was an absolute gem. The man who works during the day, looks like the manager… amazing! But all of the staff are straight out the top drawer. Lovely outdoor/pool area with shade and sun all day. Very discreet from the street. The owners and reception staff were so helpful and friendly. The hotel is only a short walk into the centre but far away to be quiet and get a restful sleep. The pool was a real added bonus and spotless clean. I would stay here again for sure.

Seriously, this was the best hotel we have ever been. Gino and the other staff truly were so kind and made our stay perfect! We had the suite room, which felt like coming home and the bed was even better than our own bed at home! The location is nice and facilities like the pool, water, coffee was the best! If you visit Merida, you must stay here 😁 hope we will come back here once!

Free parking on the side streets can be an issue with limited availability, but we were lucky to find street parking both times we needed to. There is inexpensive paid parking nearby though.

The owner was super friendly and accomodating. The room was modern and clean. And the location was walking distance to most of Merida's main tourist points. The always available cappuchinos were delicious!

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. Parks, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. are located within walking distance. The staff was very nice and accommodating. This will be my go to hotel whenever I'm in Merida.
