After a long flight I would prefer to check in at the resort rather than the airport. The weather wasn’t great when we arrived but the check in process did take up some time rather than being on our way….

The scuba diving was expensive when everything included. I didn't particularly like the underwater restaurant. I was expecting more, it's just an aquarium.

Everything was lovely. The water villa was better than photos on website. Spacious and lovely bathroom. Bed a bit hard for me. The food was delicious and all tastes catered for. The Spa and scuba diving were very good too. Staff were all very pleasant.

**An Exceptional Stay at OBLU LOGIBILI** We had the pleasure of staying in a stunning overwater villa with a private pool, offering breathtaking views. The bathroom is simply extraordinary, and stepping down from the terrace, you can instantly see a multitude of fish beneath you—a true aquatic paradise. The food is absolutely exceptional, with a perfect blend of high-quality self-serve buffets and an à la carte service with table orders. The alcoholic beverages are also of good quality, though a more sophisticated cocktail menu would be a welcome addition. The staff is attentive and caring throughout the stay, and the concept of having a dedicated host reachable via WhatsApp at any time is a brilliant idea that enhances the overall experience. The boat transfer to the island is simple and quick (around 20 minutes), with just a 30-minute wait at the airport, which is greatly appreciated. On the same island, there’s the Xperience hotel, part of the same group. It's a more budget-friendly option, though of lesser quality. Lastly, the underwater restaurant Aquarium is a must! Dining there, surrounded by marine life, is as memorable as the quality of the food. The only downside, unrelated to the hotel, is the weather. I wouldn’t recommend going in August as we experienced five days of almost continuous rain. In summary, OBLU LOGIBILI offers an unforgettable luxury experience, despite the unpredictable weather. A stay I highly recommend.

The main point you have to be aware of before you book this hotel : Male is really close!!! The whole time you see it on the horizon! And even at night it is shining like some kind of Manhattan. We were aware that it’s only 20 min from Male, but we couldn’t have imagined that you can see it so clear! So if you are searching for more idilic location: probably it’s not the best option. 2 years ago we stayed in Oblu Select Sangeli : the location is much better, more picturesque, more sandy beaches etc, though less wild life btw ) The planes: Male airport is also very close obviously. So the planes and sea taxis are flying above your head the whole day with the last Emirates flight at 23:40 pm :) The food in underwater resto : can be improved, seriously. I know people going there for an experience, but still..it’s a restaurant, not a museum. The food during our normal lunch or dinner at Ylang Ylang was way better! Entertainment: would be great if they could arrange life band performances every night ( just like in Sangeli ) with more livelier songs. Most of the couples are on honeymoon here, maybe that’s why the Swing bar was always empty during Lobi Duo performance :( Though the guys are singing very nice. Maybe if they change the repertoire, it would attract more couples to the bar?!

We stayed 10 days in the water villa and loved almost everything! From the top quality products to utmost caring and attentive personnel, who made us feel special ( though we were not on a honeymoon)! Our water villa ( 207 ) was amazing : spacious, beautifully decorated and meticulously cleaned twice a day ( special thanks to our lovely and shy cleaning lady! :) Normally I am picky about the beds, but this one was really comfy and not too firm. We loved our open air bathroom as well. The food was also great : lots of seafood ( shrimps, tuna, octopus, scallops and even Lobster for Gala dinner ), good selection of wine, Indian cuisine and great pizza! Being spoiled gourmets, we were looking forward to every dinner and lunch. The dinner at the food truck was specifically good! Their grilled octopus is must try. As said, the personal is very caring, professional and friendly. They really went extra mile to make us happy ( thank you again, dear Priya ). Surprisingly the wild life was also ok : we were able to snorkel with LOTS of sharks, saw eagle rays, puffers, nurse sharks, jumping dolphins, rays etc. Their Underwater resto is a must! What an experience! And btw, we’ve enjoyed lunch on a sunny day more than a dinner. Though during the dinner you can spot much more sharks, so up to you :). Overall absolutely romantic 5-Star experience!

Everything was fantastic. Shall I suggest little improvement: maybe a bit more live music and entertainment at the swing bar (the great sax player could play longer or maybe play on the boat during the sunset cruise. Or more bands coming and playing etc.. )

I had been to the Maldives for a honeymoon before and was very pleased with that holiday, but this was something else completely. From the very first welcome, we were treated extremely friendly and polite. We felt warm and welcoming. The food was good. We had no problems with the taste. The variety was small but very sufficient. I liked the semi-a la carte policy. The architecture of the restaurants was very stylish. Although I think it is related to the concept, I think there is a need for architectural improvements for Gaadiya. As for cleanliness, which is the issue that I attach most importance to, I am very happy that I did not experience any problems in that regard. I would also like to thank the staff who cleaned our room. Just as a suggestion, I think the cooling in the salad-dessert section should be increased. It may cause hygiene problems, especially in terms of ice cream. And as for the massage, it was the best massage I've ever had in my life. At first, I wondered if there was a bias due to road fatigue since we had it done on the first day, but we came across another couple who said the same thing. We chose Yogayaam massage and were very pleased. The use of solar energy and a few details that I thought were made to saving had a positive impact on me. Our room was very large and beautiful. There were many things we might need in the room. Unlike businesses that plan to fill in as many people as possible and make a profit, there were a number of people who felt like the whole island was ours, and this made us feel special. And finally, Lisa was a completely different detail for us. She made everything we wanted possible for us. She took special care of our every request and worked hard to please us until our departure. I thank her very much for being a part of this wonderful experience. Thank you so much for everything. Hope to see you again.

We stayed four days in one of the water villas. Our host Maryam organized everything for us even before we checked in which was a delightful surprise, we had so many wonderful activities, sunset boat ride, fishing tour, massage and more, the island is absolutely stunning and everyone you cross paths with is going to take a moment to say hi, the drinks at the pool are great along with the staff. Restaurant Ylang Ylang is amazing, so many food options, all of it tasty and delicious. Special thanks to all of the restaurant staff especially to Teju, Elin and Citra. The water villa was absolutely stunning, it exceeded our expectations, especially the bathroom and patio with your own access to the ocean. Our housekeeper Koti was amazing, bringing us chocolates every night and keeping our room spotless. This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited, the resort is absolutely beautiful.

The Maldives are generally very impressive with their sea, sand and atmosphere, but what I remember from this holiday was especially the food. Since we were a honeymoon couple, our hostess organized dinings and activities at a different restaurant for us every day. We ate very delicious meals at Gaadiya, Onlyblu and Ylang Ylang restaurants. Especially the underwater restaurant was very impressive for me. Every day was full of events. We went to snorkeling trips twice and saw baby sharks along with a wide variety of fish. Caretta carettas appear on the beach at night. Just because its location is close to Male, it is also very convenient in terms of commuting.

We like everything without any single point. Well organize hotel. Each staff is helpful and smiling to you. We stayed at water villa with pool. It is fantastic. If you look down from your villa you can see many kinds of fishes and even baby sharks. Foods are great not like standart allinclusive hotels. Thank you Lisa for all. We didn't like the gift store didn't have merchandise from the hotel, only for Maldives. We didn't see any shirts or souvenirs for Lobigili.

The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional. We liked the different variety of foods. I am not vegetarian but I got to try some new dishes I never thought of before. I especially liked how the wait staff made sure we like the food. If there was something we didn't like, they instantly replaced it with something else.

Drop-off at the airport is way too early. We left the resort at 7am and our flight was at 10.25am. We needed 1 hour and 15 minutes to get on our plane. Don't waste your time at the airport. Enjoy your final moments at the hotel. The airport is total chaos because everybody is dropped off waaaay too early (3,4 or more hours) and they all get into the same line. Which is the worst scenario (logistically), does not make any sense and creates chaos. Don't be a part of it.

When we travel, we want to discover the world and see as much as possible of our travel destination. We never stay at one hotel and we don't care much about the hotel selection. That is completely different in the Maldives: your hotel is your travel destination. The selection of the hotel is very important and I did a lot of research. Oblu Select has very good reviews but we were scared about the potential downsides or hidden flaws. Well...We could not find any! This hotel is THE best. We loved our stay. It was beyond our expectations and we didn't notice points of improvement. We had a water villa with pool and the room was so pretty. Just amazing! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I have never experienced something like that. Our host Mayrem was the sweetest. She was always there for us and helped us with whatever request we had. At the same time, she kept enough distance to respect our privacy. Every staff member was so sweet, helpful, respectful and caring. But without being pushy or indiscreet. The food was delicious and has the highest quality. There was enough variety: buffet, à la carte, live cooking and different restaurants. Eating at Oblu Select is an experience in itself. The underwater restaurant was a very special experience! It was great! We also recommend the floating breakfast and private movie night. The spa facilities are top notch. So professional and beautiful at the same time. I love the fact that this hotel is small-scale and has quiet/discreet/respectful quests. It never felt crowded. You can truly relax at this hotel because it avoids all 'party elements': no loud music, no club, no nightly events...Loud music and parties would be contradictory to the peaceful vibes of this hotel and island. If you realy need loud music or a party, you can visit the other island (connected by a bridge). The fact that this hotel is 'Adult Only' makes a huge different as well. No crying, no screaming, no tantrums.
