Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

QatarThere's nothing to dislike.
It is a tranquil location away from the noise. The sunset is amazing. The food is great. The staff is happy to help. I also liked the water activities available in the resort.

United KingdomThe weather - A couple of days we had some rain, and the clouds got in the way of the perfect sunset - of course I am being facetious, this didn't detract from our experience what-so-ever, it was the perfect getaway!
The trip was truly incredible! We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time, thanks to every individual who worked at the resort, and everyone who had a part to play in putting our adventure together. From the moment we stepped off the boat, we were greeted by the owner and some of the staff, who couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay, their attention to detail was phenomenal. The food in every restaurant was lovely, and there was enough to keep any palate satiated throughout their stay, along with a plethora of drinks options, whatever your tipple. The location itself was fantastic, surrounded by a magical reef that was teeming with wildlife, from colourful fishes, to turtles and reef sharks. Travel further afield and you can see manta-rays up close and personal, that one excursion was particularly awesome. If you want to be active on the island, the gym is adequately stocked with a enough equipment to keep you busy, and you can use the variety of water-sports equipment too, as well as a nice spa facility that offers expensive, but very enjoyable treatments. If you don't want to be so active, your time can be whiled away simply ogling the incredible turquoise waters, and the soft white sand that envelopes the island. Overall, we hoped that our trip to the Maldives was going to be special, and it exceeded our expectations in every sense, particularly the spell-binding scenery, but also the staff, they were awesome. We enjoyed celebrating our 20th anniversary, and we will no doubt return to celebrate another milestone in the future. Thank you!

BelgiumThis is the most wonderful accommodation we've ever stayed at. Enjoyed 6 days of ultimate relaxation. The stunning reef is right at your doorstep - we would wake up at 6 every morning with the ocean calling us to come over and snorkel. All the staff is extremely kind and caring. We would like to especially thank Estela and Sinan for always going the extra mile for us. The food and cocktails are all 10/10! You really cannot go wrong with this place.

Saudi ArabiaWe didn't do the sunset cruise as it was too windy, but the boat they were using for this looked a bit basic.
A fantastic resort - very beautiful with great snorkelling, restaurants & bars, rooms and staff. We ate at each of the restaurants and they were all excellent, we were also impressed with the extensive All Inclusive wine list. During our stay (early May 22) the wind was coming from the west and, judging from the beach erosion, this was the dominant wind direction. We had one of the pool villas on the east side of the island and we definitely felt this was the best choice. The main snorkelling area was just outside of our garden, which was much more private than with other types of villas. We were very happy with room 103 and would highly recommend this.

United Kingdomif I was being really picky the water villa rooms and terrace were poorly furnished didn’t reflect the cost of the holiday or the 5 stars the rest of the hotel deserves. the bathrooms however were lovely all glass looking out over the ocean.
loved the fact it only had 32 rooms yet 5 restaurants! the food was incredible so was the house reef we averaged 3 turtles a day plus reef sharks and amazing reef fish in abundance. loved the fact the hotel lent us a go pro for snorkelling it meant we took some awesome videos of reef sharks and turtles etc.

Singapore1. The road. A sea plane with an intermediate landing plus a boat is long and inconvenient, especially in bad weather. 2. The sea. Despite the beautiful pictures, reality looks different (photo attached). I do not recommend taking a duplex villa, in bad weather when entering the sea through sandbags you can damage your limbs. And the view is not beautiful. However, on the other side of the island there is practically no sea - shallow and small, only snorkelling behind the reef. 3. The room. I do not advise taking the hotel in bad weather - the room is flooded with water, which the hotel fights with towels (photo attached). 4. The island and entertainment - it is probably difficult to find a smaller island, no entertainment at all, except for a speaker in the bar, but the hotel management throws a party there for themselves every Tuesday. 5. Management - does not bother you to the level of indifference, you will not see them during the day, there was no communication from them for a week, neither about the return flight, nor about the dinner program, nor about the free sunset cruise included in the offer. However, in the evening you can regularly meet them in the same bar. And also when leaving the island, the whole team vigorously waves after you. Overall, one of the worst experiences in the Maldives in more than 20 years of travel.
A wide variety of food, except breakfast. I actually add 2 points for stuff in the restaurant who really do their best.
