Nothing. Even location which is 6-7 minutes walking from bikini beach is good. While walking You can see all the island and see the local side of people’s living, hospital, police, school, pre school.

Everything, most of all hospitality and support. I am glad that I selected this hotel. I have read the reviews before going and was waiting to have good support from hotel. But Rifu and his team were way more helpful than my expectation. From starting with transfer to hotel, meeting in port by buggy, accomodating and till the transfer back to Male. There are many excursions in island, and the excursion providers which Arora advised are good at their work. We tried approximately all excursions. And there is no price difference. Even the prices in minibar were same as in store. Also Rifu knew that we have two daughters and they prepared painting for them for which I am very appreciated to him and Aashmi who handmade this gift. Again thanks to Rifu and his team (I am bad at remembering the names, so sorry not indicating individually all the team members) Maldives is place which should be experienced.

Absolutely everything was exceptional at this hotel but the best thing about it is certainly their staff! For a start, Mr Raffi who owns the hotel met us from our speedboat which arrived at 10:30pm and then everyday he took every opportunity to catch up with us to check how our stay was going. We also booked all of our tours through him which he arranged for us and they were amazing and either he or a member of his staff took us to the tours in the morning. He also, along with a member of his staff took us to the port when we left and waved us off which was incredibly sweet of them and there was no one else on the boat with this same level of service. Additionally his staff are all so lovely, a lovely girl called Asmi presented us with a beautiful painting she had done herself on our last day which is so lovely to have as a memory of maafushi and this hotel! Also the rooms were cleaned to a very high standard every single day and we got a good breakfast buffet every morning. Honestly, we have never stayed in a hotel where the staff are so caring.. absolutely book your stay in maafushi at Arora View Hotel!!

While there is a flat screen TV, there is no service apparently because the hotel do not renew subscription. The ceiling fan is noiseless but there is no regulator. We got the best room (110) but as of now there is no ocean view room in the hotel. Actually very few hotels in Maafushi have ocean view rooms.

Excellent brand new hotel. Extra large room (No. 110) with balcony, extra large and super comfortable bed, quality linen, excellent air conditioner, fast WiFi in all areas, unlimited drinking water, tea, coffee throughout the day in the room, complimentary tea/coffee & cookies in the afternoon and very good buffet breakfast. Located in a quite place for sound sleep and next to only ATM booth in the island and several small stores for daily needs. Hotel provides free-of-cost snorkelling gears and floating kits for children. Hotel representative receives the guests at the jetty and and transport baggage by a cart and passengers by a buggy though it is just a short walk of 3 to 4 minutes. Manager Mr. Raffi received us. (Thank you Mr. Raffi.) Guests are welcomed by staff and provided with a wet towel and fruit juice. The entire staff are polite, efficient and extremely helpful. Thank you Shiromi, Ashmi and Ashmita (Apologies ladies, if I made mistakes in spelling your names). The night before our departure one of the girls (Ashmi ?) came to our room and presented a small painting as a gift. What a gesture! Tank you pretty girl. Hotel provides local tours to other islands for fishing, snorkelling, swimming with sharks , dolphin watching (depends on one's luck) etc. The best part of this is that there is no extra charge as such tours cost the same from any other kiosk from the island.

The owner didn't accept some $$$ cash because some of them were issued in 2006 or something like that. Also, one was just a few broken on top and again he didn't accept it. I was scared at first because I never had this problem before and I thought that everybody would do the same there. But no, thanks God :) Anyway, because I used my money on other parts, I skipped this problem cause the place was really comfortable

This place was so clean and the staff was really nice, everytime ready to help. They offered a very good buffet breakfast with different tasty options. A real confort. I would pick again!

We have stayed at 105 room. The room has a glass wall which doesn't affect the ability to stay but more noise and light gets through it. They however turn off the lights for the night in the walkway. My guess is this will be turned into a massage room or so long term. As it was the cheaper option and really the only one left from the hotel we decided to stay. It was just fine. If you have an option for an upgrade, do it. Despite this, still glad we stayed in this place.

Arora View is a hotel run by an owner who cares. Picked us up from the port, was present always when needed during the stay, and at the end walked with us back to the port and made sure we got on the right ferry (easy to mess up and also helped a bunch of strangers in the port - great human being) When choosing an adventure package, he gave us great tips that have been spot on. His staff reflects his behavior and attitude as well. Always smiling, always available to help guests. This hotel team is a 5-star experience in a 3-star hotel and I wish them success. The business has been affected by COVID-19 a lot and currently picking up. The best that can happen to them is they lack guests only when they decide to intentionally close for a few months to build more floors to extend the capacity.

We had a delightful stay at Arora View, impressed by the warm welcome from the staff. From port greeting to luggage assistance and refreshing welcome drinks, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Rooms were cleaned daily, the ones with balcony are spacious and beds are comfortable. Conveniently located, just 5 minutes from bikini beach. Highly recommend!

It is not that we did not like, it is more like a recommendation. If you want to be met at the port for your luggage to be transported to the hotel or from the hotel to the port and you are in tight schedule be aware that they are not in a hurry and add +30 min to your schedule not to be late. We were not late anywhere, but at some point we had a little bit of stress when our luggage was not at the port on the agreed time.

Wow, just WOW. The hospitality of the staff was exquisite! Since the first moment we were met with smiles and willingness to fulfill all our needs. The room was super clean and comfortable, the bed was super huge a bit too firm for my taste but it did not disrupt our sleep. We used a laundry service, the clothes were washed and dried perfectly. The breakfast was really good and tasty, also we had there and one dinner it was very delicious, very good food quality. Applause for the chef.
