This guest house is a gem, but the surrounding area is not very clean, it's more of an industrial area. Once you're inside you no longer notice, though. If you've got long hair, it may be advisable to bring your own hairdryer - the one provided looks like it's from the 1950s and didn't look all that safe (I'm sure it's perfectly fine, but perception is everything 😃)

Friendly staff, welcoming us from the first minute. Beautiful house with direct seaview. We used them as a first stop after l anding in Mauritius and it turned out to be a good choice! Very relaxed atmosphere and nobody is rushing you. Lovely garden and some (also very relaxed) pets around. Dinners were a simple but tasty affair. The WiFi is excellent, makes this also an option for a business traveler with appointments in Port Louis, if you want some peace and quiet just 15 minutes by car from the city center. Price for accommodation and food is perfectly reasonable. Would recommend and visit again!

Patricia and Ben made sure that our stay was extremely comfortable. Ben is a Gold mine of information on all aspects of Mauritius tourism! His enthusiasm is infectious. Inspite of not taking any paid tours, we managed to see almost everything.

There is not much nearby and it is a bit far from city center, which was not a problem for us as we were aware of it.

Small Hotel with very nice staff where you feel soo welcomed. Nice food, simple breakfast but fresh and with everything you need. In a very calm zone, where you can relax at the pool, with a great view to the ocean and the beautiful sunset. I would come back!

No restaurants or attractions within walking distance - unless you plan to just laze by the pool when the weather allows. (Staff will call a taxi if you need one)

Beautiful villa and elegant Mauritian interior right on the ocean, and 20 minutes drive from city centre. Our room had a separate sitting room and bathroom with a big seafacing balcony. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

The swimming pool was not very clean. There is no direct access to a beach. The rooms we stayed in need refurbishing. One of the bathrooms had a smell. The dining area is a bit small.

The views are amazing. Staff are very polite and helpful. The food was really good.

- A bit far away from all notable beaches or attractions. Recommend to rent a car / scooter. - WiFi connectivity was not very reliable in the seaside bungalow. (it was however better in the common areas, e.g., the dinner place)

We have booked the seaside bungalow. It was absolutely marvelous. Albeit slightly higher priced than the other rooms, it was worth every penny. Throughout the entire night, we could hear the tranquil sounds of the waves as the balcony is literally 1-2 meters apart from the ocean. Such a unique experience! Other highlights include: - Awesome staff, very nice and helpful people - Amazing and versatile meals (you can request dinner as well for a fee) - Cozy environment - Ample space to park your car if applicable to you (just be careful not to park to a spot where you risk coconuts falling on your car :)) - Cute and friendly dog Overall, highly recommended.

exceptionally friendly, comfortable, and delightful hotel. All the staff were fantastic, helpful friendly and it is a very informal lovely relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful location on the coast with a lovely swimming pool. They recommended to me a taxi driver who drove me around for the week; he was absolutely brilliant and I hope that they can pass on to him my gratitude and thanks. I hope he get lots of business from them!

Breakfast was just average and it's not that close to the nice beaches, but well positioned for travelling to Port Louis. Bathroom a little cramped, but didn't really bother me.

This place is like a home from home. very relaxed, not too many guests and great for working. Lovely pool and places to laze. I liked it that they offered meals as a choice, which meant not having to go out to restaurants. Room was huge and comfortable, with everything one could need.

the only minor is that there is not so much to do in the city where it is. If you are ok with only chilling at the hotel (a really nice place to do so) then you have to have a car

It seemed the TV channels didn't work, but it was not a problem for us. We didn't even mention it to the staff, because we were too busy exploring the beautiful Mauritius to watch TV.

Beautiful setting, charming building, decent pool, nicely arranged outer areas, friendly staff. Good breakfast in a lovely setting. Good base to explore Mauritius especially if you have a car. Room was clean and had all we needed.
