The location was excellent, right in old town Valletta, close to all the sights. The breakfast was adequate and a good introduction to local cuisine.

Shame the roof terrace wasn't available to relax on during the day and evening.

Breakfast on the roof terrace was superb with the focus on traditional Maltese. Very good range of choice and great for vegetarians. Staff were excellent ensuring all items were replenished and ready to help. The hotel opened the roof terrace in the evenings at a specific time for complimentary nibbles and drinks.

We stayed two nights in the hotel. Our room was already available, and therefore we were able to check-in earlier. The location of the hotel is great for sightseeing, and the room was very quiet and clean.

Such a shame the roof terrace wasn't open in the evening for us to sit down and have a drink just to chill. We had to go to a bar and that got expensive. Would have been great to have a beer from the fridge and enjoy the views.

HPM has wonderful location and best breakfest! Walking distance to city gate, bus statin and close to most important landmarks in Valletta. Staff very attentive and respectful. This was a great stay and highly recommended.

Our room was lovely and very clean. The shower was amazing with a strong water jet. A nice surprise was that the drinks in the fridge were free of charge. The staff were also very helpful and pleasant and breakfast was good. Would definately go and stay there again.

Hot water for cup of tea awkward and sometimes cool . I’d rather drink juice out of glass just a small hint

Fantastic hotel, great staff and perfect location for exploring amazing Valletta. The Maltese buffet breakfast was always very fresh and with lots of choice. Would definitely stay here again.

Wifi could have been a bit stronger.

The hotel was 10 m fron a pedestrian stree and on the side there was a food market. Nice and comfortable room with a nice bathroom. Breakfast served on a rooftop terrace. Staff was great and helpful.

The staff were always very pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Any issues were dealt with very quickly. Rooms where always clean and tidy. Owner was very knowledgeable on various interesting places to visit.

Breakfast was a traditional Maltese selection. Plenty of variation. Served on the roof top terrace unless weather windy or wet. Food was always fresh and restocked very quickly.

Good location and exceptionally clean room. The hotel was staffed from 7am-7pm and reception staff pleasant and helpful.

There were no drawers or shelves to unpack & put clothes although there was a rail with hangers to hang things.
