Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BulgariaI am really glad and happy for my staying in 28 Peter. The apartment was with really good location, easy to find, also easy to unlock the door. When we enter inside we were surpprised how big and clean the place was. There was everything you need. The host even had put some sweets for us in the kitchen, also fruits, oats, coffee etc. They were always there for us, answearing to all of my questions about the trip. I highly reccommend the place! Thank you again for the great accommodation :)

We loved everything in the apartment. Great location, only a few minutes walk to supermarket and bus stop, beaches, cafes and restaurants. Decor in the apartment is so beautiful. Very homey feel. 2 toilets are always handy. The owner is super friendly and informative. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay in Sliema.

All what you need in Malta :) Probably the best apartment all in all I've ever rented.

Owner is lovely, I whatsapp’d him to ask them to leave a bottle of water as I needed it for the babies bottle due to arriving so late that shops won’t be open. Apartment is lovely, everything you need is there. Loads of baby & kids toys there as well. Will most certainly stay here again.

The apartment is lovely - comfortable, modern and spacious! It is very well equipped - everything you could possibly need is there. The apartment is really close to the promenade in Sliema which has lots of restaurants and also just a short walk from Lidl so easy to stock up with groceries if you want to prepare meals in the apartment. The hosts are lovely - friendly and available if you need advice or ask any questions.

United KingdomThis apartment in Sliema is absolutely stunning in person and the photos on Booking.com do not do it justice. Maria and Jonathan were so accommodating and have thought of everything. They even very kindly allowed for us to have a later checkout on our final day which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend a stay here! The location is ideal. We were only in Malta for 3 days and managed to see quite a lot of the islands during our time there.
