The hostel owner was very friendly. Breakfast was also sufficient, hot omelette, cheese, tomatoes, fried green peppers, coffee, and fruit tea if you wanted. The location is very close to the bus station and 1.3 km away from the center.

No shower hanger to take bath

I stayed at Hostel Bela in Ohrid, and while it's conveniently close to the bus station, it's a bit far from the city center, requiring a 15 to 20-minute walk. My main concern was the eerie emptiness of the hostel - not a single person, not even at the reception. It felt like something out of a horror movie, and I ended up staying awake all night due to fear. Even though I knew it was a secure area with low crime, I really wished there was someone at the reception for peace of mind.

Again here, corners were cut where possible. The TV was out of order, no shower curtain water everywhere, guests were spotted smoking in the breakfast room - this was unacceptable, the A/C was not working properly

Some of the furniture could do with being renewed and cleaning could be better. However, for the price, I can not complain.

For the price, this must be one of the best stays in Europe. The breakfast is fantastic and the owner is very kind. The facilities are good and it’s very close to the bus station. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The only thing is this place is really a hotel with dorms, rather than a hostel as there is no communal space (they lock the breakfast area when they are not there).

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff - they were very welcoming and gave me suggestions oh what to do in Ohrid. As it was quiet when I was there (in May), they spread guests across rooms so even though I booked a dorm I had the room to myself. Would definitely return to this hostel

It was impossible to completely closed windows and door of the balcony, so you can feel cold at night. It was very difficult to handle of blinds.

The room was pretty clean and have balconies. There are toilet papers, soaps and towels in the room. Each room also has a direct heater (off-season stay) and television. The owner is very kind and friendly. You can use his kitchen on the ground floor by arrangement. I obtained very delicious breakfast. Breakfast will be prepare by owner on time which you will choose in advance. The dining room looks really modern, I liked that. Wi-Fi is available!
