We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AlbaniaWe had a issue with the parking place. The parking place was above the sidewalk and difficult to enter. After we went in the room 1 hour later we went out and the parking entrance was blocked from another car. We damaged our car from that because there was not enough space to go out. At first it is not my responsibility as a client to find the other driver and second the car damage costed us 150€. The reason that I booked the hotel is because we wanted to fly the next day from Skopje airport of the cheap tickets that we booked but instead we paid even more of the damage. Next time if I book a flight from Skopje only of this bad experience with the parking place i will not book again at Hotel Gold
The hotel is 7 min from the Skopje center. Everything was very clean and the room conditions as well . Breakfast could be better.

Germany- The private parking is a joke, they tell you to park on the side walk in front of the hotel. We came back and some natives leaned their stuff against the car and caused some scratches - The location is a bit dodgy at night. Wouldn’t want to be a solo female traveler

SerbiaWe stayed the night between Saturday and Sunday, just wanted to get some rest on the way to Greece but unfortunately there was extremely loud muslim music playing from restaurant on top of the hotel, whole hotel was shaking and it went well past midnight, so definitely not the best place for some quiet Saturday night evening

GermanyThe mattresses were not that comfortable. The hotel was a bit of a walk from the bridge. They screwed me over a bit, in the sense that I told them that I would check out one day earlier, and if i could have money back for that, they said it's not a problem, just that i'd have to get it through booking.com. And when I tried to get it back through booking.com, they told them it is not their policy. So the staff might not have been aware of this and they made a commitment that they did not follow through on. But other than that, the staff was really good.
The staff was very nice. In particular Irene was exceptional. She was very understanding, sympathetic, helpful and kind. It was a joy talking to her. She helped me out with taxis, air conditioning, my bookings and gave me some useful tips for traveling. The staff on generally was very nice. The cleaning ladies were very courteous, helpful and friendly. The 2 guys at the reception were also very nice to talk to. And one of the guys, i think his name was Mohsin, was always very helpful. The hotel location is also pretty good, right next to the bazaar, though around 10 minutes from the bridge. They also offer free parking which is very convenient.
