A road to the Farm from Virpazar is a single shared lane in both directions, but this is a usual case in the mountains away from the major roads. It is about 4.2 km (10 min) drive.

There are many things that make this place so special, a beautiful setting in the mountains close to the Skadar Lake, a simple but clean and comfortable room, views from the balcony, hospitality of the owners, the food - home made breakfasts and dinners, and the home made wine. A highlight was the boat trip around the lake with helpful guidance from one of the owners and a visit to Beska female monastery. We hope to come back to Vrzina Farm House sometime.

It is not comfortable in the bathroom. I couldn’t find a space for towel or hang it neither my clothes or even toilet paper. It just needs few hooks and a shelf and it would be great

Amazing staff and superb food, very calm and relaxing atmosphere and great to rent a boat or boat trip on site with english speaking person. It is 3 minutes far from Winery Tradicija where you can sip great wine or liquer and munch on good food

We loved everything!

Vrzina was a great find for us with unexpected treasures! Milena and her family are the hosts and catered to all of our needs in their spacious and extremely clean, comfortable rooms. The delightful surprise was the little family winery, and the delicious meals cooked by Milena's precious Mother. When we arrived, Milena greeted us and took us into their little family winery and we had a tasting. Then we had a delicious dinner that included everything from their family farm. We slept soundly in the comfortable beds and awakened early for our boat ride on the pristine, gorgeous Lake Skadar, captained by Milena's Dad. He told us stories and history that Milena translated into English for us as we watched the beautiful sunrise and listened to the birds. It was too short of a stay at this charming, warm family run farm. We had an experience of a lifetime and highly recommend it to others!

We were welcomed by the family and shown to our family room with a balcony overlooking the vines and chickens and with plenty of room for the 3 of us. We booked an evening meal and were served wonderful fresh fish soup followed by trout which was delicious. We also booked breakfast - the dough balls were amazing! We also arranged a trip on Skadar Lake which was wonderfully peaceful and we all enjoyed a fun swim in the lake too. All in all a very relaxing stay in a peaceful location with extremely friendly hosts - Thank you.

A couple of things needed: A mat for the bathroom floor There’s a kettle but no cups

Vržina Farm House was such a great place to stay. All the family chips in to make it a very welcoming, friendly place. Our room was really comfortable, with a nice outside area. We took advantage of mum’s cooking for dinner and breakfast (both excellent). Dad and daughter took us out onto the lake for a 2 hour sunset boat trip.

We visited mid=july during a heatwave and the aircon struggled at first to keep our rooms cool.

Friendly staff made us welcome in their property. We ordered dinners and breakfasts (extra) and were treated to fresh locally grown vegetables, fish from the lake and home made wine. Also catered for the vegetarians in our party. Swimming at Godinje beach (5 min drive).

Amazing friendly family hosts, very comfortable rooms with AC, location next to amazing local beach and wineries. If you are looking for a genuine Montenegro lake experience I cannot recommend Vrzina more! :)

Its location meant we relied on the property owners to drive us places - but they were so willing to do that that we didn’t suffer.

The beautiful, clean house was amazingly situated with a view of Lake Skadar. The beautiful kitchen garden, chickens, dogs and pigs added an extra charming layer to the place.

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was home made and delicious, served on a terrace overlooking the garden. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The evening meal option was very good. We would recommend the boat trip on Lake Skadar. It was a very enjoyable trip and we saw pelicans.

Amazing family with kindness and hospitality. Because of the plan we only got to spend one night in this beautiful village with this amazing family. We are really happy to get to know them and enjoyed our stay very much. The owner Ana doesn't speak much English but she understands well and the daughters of the family are great helper, who speak very good English and are confident and knowledgeable in their area.They gave us a lot of information about the area. The room is spacious and spotlessly clean with everything you need, the terrace with great mountain view is a bonus. We also had breakfast and boat trip with them, both were highly recommended. If you are looking for good room, food, tranquility and good experience, this is the place.
