The staff were amazing, especially the hotel manager who made our stay. She was so accommodating when we arrived to the hotel earlier than expected after a whole night of travelling, she checked us in early and kindly upgraded us, which made our stay! The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location. The rooms are lovely too

We loved everything, especially the staff and the breakfast. We stayed for three nights and breakfast choice was different each day. The staff greets everyone with smiles and helpful mood. The location of the hotel is also good, only 7min walk to the beach and 3min walk to the closest supermarket, the location is also quiet . Would love to stay again some day!

Beaches are so close but oldtown is a little bit far.

The Staff was amazingly friendly. Everything was clean. At breakfast you have everything you need and the taste was good. Parking costs 7Euros/day and you are gonna need it in Budva with so many people and cars in the town

Nothing specific, the hotel and the personal were very good.

Amazing hotel in Budva - good location, near the centre of the town, beaches are 5-7 minutes by walk. The store which is open 24h is near the hotel. Special thanks remains to the personal of the hotel - all people are very friendly, positive and happy to solve whatever issue you have. Cleaning of the room was excellent, it was performed during 10 minutes while we were on breakfast. Definitely one of the best hotel in Budva based on my experience. Also, even through the hotel is located in the centre, there were no noise heard from the city or the other rooms. We also had a nice terrace with the view to the town where it was nice to seat in the evening or morning.

The hangers in the bathroom are not sufficient for the amount of towels. Also some hangers for clothes and bathrobe would be nice. No special place to hang dry swimwear or beach towels (though it is a beach destination). No possibility to rent a beach towel or a beach umbrella. This is the first hotel in my 18 years of travel where there is rule (and they say it too) that you can't bring food into the room. Though other visitors here commented that the personell was extremely helpful in finding tours, to us they just said to go to any travel service near the beach. Those provide big group tours, and we looked for small group tours or individual tours.

The hotel is super clean. The breakfasts were one of the best despite very small space for the food. There was a balcony in the room with two chairs and a table, air conditioner. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. They change the towels daily. We didn't hear any loud noises that disturbed our sleep and it was comfy to sleep with open windows too.

Hotel Idila Budva exceeded our expectations in every single category: - Staff: The friendly people were eager to help us. They supported us several times. They speak English and managed to help us in various situations including parking and airport transfer; - Breakfast: every day we could find something new, which made us forget our habit of exploring a city for a breakfast spot. Moreover, there are 2 cups of coffee included per person and the barista in the hotel kindly makes it for you; - Location: it's a perfect location. It's not too close to the sea, which protects you from noise from night clubs and night life, it's close to grocery and bakery there are many things to explore; - Cleanliness: rooms are clean and nice looking; - Comfort and facilities: modern rooms, safe, refrigerator, rain shower, air conditioner, comfort beds, and the underground parking keeps your car cool enough, which was remarkably important the week we stayed, as the temperature exceeded 36 degrees.

Everything was great

I really liked the hotel. It is new, located in a quiet area, and has a large underground parking lot (yes, it's paid, but that didn't bother me as parking spaces in Budva are very limited). I would like to especially mention the very responsive staff and the magnificent breakfast (the best breakfast I've seen in hotels). I'll also write some suggestions for the hotel (these are not drawbacks, just small opportunities for improvement): 1. Make it possible for guests to open the parking barrier themselves (yes, the hotel staff opens it quickly enough, but still). 2. Replace the bar soap with liquid soap as it sticks to the sink and has to be peeled off :) 3. Add more towel hooks in the bathroom. Once again, I want to emphasize that these suggestions in no way spoil the excellent impression of the hotel. We will definitely stay there again if we visit Montenegro.

The selection for breakfast was slightly limited but this was mainly due to the space available. What was offered was of high quality and changed each morning, and so I feel there was enough variety during our stay

The hotel is finished to an exceptionally high standard and looks brand new. The rooms are very comfortable, well thought out (sockets, storage etc) and spotless, and there were even some biscuits in the room as a welcome gift. The location is great for anyone who wants easy access to explore Budva old town and the beach, as well as local shops and cafes, but wants a quieter area away from the noise. Breakfast was of high quality and changed each morning, and had a varied selection. Being greeted at the door and offered a choice of fresh teas and coffees each morning was great. However, the highlight of our stay was the staff who made us feel welcome and very comfortable. They were all incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive and went out of their way for us. It was my birthday on the day we were checking out and the stack of birthday pancakes at breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. I can absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to explore Budva

Amazing staff! Ladies at the reception are always smiling and ready to help you. She made our holiday great! We had only 2 days and visited lots of places by her recommendations. You will have a very good breakfast and coffee. Last day, we left earlier than breakfast time and they prepared a lovely lunchbox for us. Room and toilet are extremely clean and comfortable. It is cleaned up and towels are changed every morning while you are enjoying your breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. If you can find availability don’t look for other places!
