The room which we got was a bit small, with not enough space to store the suitcase. But it worked out anyway.

Super friendly staff, which is taking care of all of your needs. Free parking space in a place where there are a lot of cars around, so parking anywhere else might become difficult. Awesome breakfast.

The hotel is small but is lovely! The rooms are comfortable with everything you may need! Breakfast is really good and the location is just in front of the ferry! What we loved most about the hotel was the staff! Lovely lovely people! We recommend it 100% and we will come back for sure!

Not a slight on the hotel itself but given we didn't have a car we had to get taxis to various places. For example old town Kotor was just under an hour away and around €50 each way. Despite this we didn't regret it as the taxi money was worth it for the great quality of the hotel and the value for money.

The perfect place for our trip. The staff were amazing and the hotel itself ticked the boxes. A few practical things to highlight: - Lovely rooms, well air-conditioned, comfortable beds and a great shower. Everything you need is provided for you including toiletries, minibar etc - Staff were amazing, they organised a birthday surprise cake with a sparkler and wine. Throughout they couldn't have been more helpful, answering questions, booking us taxis and offering drinks by the pool. - Great breakfast with cold and hot options. They also provide food on a night if you choose to dine at the restaurant and the menu is comprehensive and tasty. -Nearby to a supermarket and a couple of good quality restaurants (e.g. Bocasa) within 5 minutes. Within 15-30 minutes there are some more. A short drive / taxi away are some other great restaurants such as Verige 65 All round highly recommended

All was perfect

Very nice, small, well renovated hotel! It was our first night as wife and husband and they even made the room romantic, put some flowers, candles, wine to surprise us. Very nice touch! Also, the breakfast was very tasty. It has a small pool for those who wish to enjoy it.

It would of been nice to have an evening meal available. It was very close to the road and the ferry service. But we didn't find that too much of a problem.

Owner and staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel is close to some of the best bars and restaurants. Car parking in private lot. Traditional stone house with modern facilities. Great breakfast !

This hotel is opposite the car ferry, and Montenegro drivers like to test their horns are working every five minutes. HOWEVER, don't let that put you off. The traditional shutters and modern double glazing combine to shut the noise out entirely, and all you hear is the whisper of the AC.

The breakfast and the customer service at this Hotel cannot be beaten. The location is perfect for exploring the coastline. Staff are so friendly and know so much about the area and how to get the most from your trip. Many of the owner's family work in the Hotel and are really invested in making your stay a success! The rooms are also beautiful. We were in the smallest, which was a good size for us and had an excellent shower. Room service is impeccable.

It's not the most accessible hotel if you're left with big bags or a pram but the staff helped us with these so it worked out anyway :)

The absolute best thing about the hotel was the girl at reception, Elena who was absolutely fantastic during our stay. What a commitment to make the guests feel at home without being too intrusive. Of course, the rest of the staff were also absolutely fantastic. The breakfast was something out of the ordinary, absolutely fantastic

The pool area is quite small so if you are expecting a large pool/swimming area then it would not suit. It was, however, quiet and very relaxing and suited our needs.

Hotel Capitano is a lovely, small hotel. There are only 7 rooms, but this means that the staff give a personal experience to their guests. All the members of staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were able to help with any issues at the hotel as well as booking taxis, transfers, excursions for us. The room was always cleaned to an exceptional standard and had all the necessary facilities. The location of the hotel is directly by the ferry across the bay. It can be quite busy with traffic queuing etc. but it wasn't a problem for us. It also allowed us to use the ferry easily (free of charge if a foot passenger) and we could explore the local area conveniently. Breakfast at Hotel Capitano was excellent, with a comprehensive breakfast buffet complemented by an 'a la carte' breakfast menu. The food was fresh and served lots of local produce.

The interior of the hotel is highly distinctive. The rooms provide a beautiful view of Bay of Kotor, and cleanliness is added value. Towels and bedsheets smells so good, wonderful aromas👌 The service is outstanding; they assisted us with beach and restaurants reservations. So responsive and cordial in communication. The manager, Luka, was very polite and expedite. He helped us to make all the reservations. Breakfast was delicious and the dining area is very uniquely designed. Wonderful experience 👏

Breakfast was perfect. Location is just in front of ferry terminal Kamenari. Private parking is provided about 200 m from property. Staff is very friendly and helpful specially Luka and Saska. Swimming pool is small but nice clean and well organized. We recommend this hotel, if we ever come again in this area we will stay in this hotel again.

It is directly across from the ferry port which operates 24/7 making the road very busy and constant traffic- there were no footpaths (but the noise wasn’t bad from inside the room.

The property was quaint and pretty. The staff, especially Luka, were very helpful and accommodating. They booked sun-beds/ lunch/ dinner for us at our request. The breakfast was really good especially the hot breakfasts which had a wide range of choices from pancakes to frys (we recommend the Capitano Breakfast)
