The Google maps is misleading and it took us in the wrong direction. From the parking lot/square, if you enter the medina's busy streets you've gone the wrong way. The ally to the hotel is across from the parking gate and now down the ramp into the median.

Ryad Mabrouka exceeded all of our expectations. Ryad Mabrouka is gorgeous space with beautiful, bright, airy, clean rooms. The bed was super comfortable. It's on a quite street which makes it a great escape from the medina's noise. But what makes this place amazing is the extremely kind staff. Unfortunately, as we arrived at the Ryad my wife got sick. Mustafa was so kind bringing us teas, drinks and food as we needed them all hours of the day. Mohamed came with us to the urgent care at 1am and waited there for 2 hours to make sure everything went well and we didn't need any help. I can't thank the staff enough for their kindness, generosity and help. I will stay at Ryad Mabrouka in a heart beat on my next visit to Fez.

It was like staying in a beautifully decorated traditional Moroccan home. Breakfast, with fresh orange juice and/or beverage of choice, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit was beautifully plated and served in the garden. Upon request, the staff even packed breakfast to take away for an early departure. The cordial staff was excellent and they always ensured we had everything we needed and prepared special dishes when we weren’t feeling 100%. In the middle of the night, the staff even accompanied us to our departure pickup points (which wasn’t necessary but they insisted ).

    Nothing.

Wonderful Ryad with wonderful staff. It was much more luxurious than we had expected - a real oasis of calm with ready access to the hubbub of the Medina. Our room was large and beautifully appointed. Breakfasts were large and varied.

    Nothing 😃

We was warmly welcomed by Mohamed with mint tea, and a local map of the Medina (of which he is very knowledgable). Throughout the whole week the entire staff team were professional, kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great, more than we could eat! And if you choose to have an evening meal at the ryad - it is delicious - the cooks are fantastic. Our suite was beautiful, very spacious and had all of the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. The ryad is maintained and decorated to a very high standard. The pool area is quite small but adequate, and it was wonderful to cool off in after exploring the local sights. And take time to sit on the terrace, the view is amazing! Ryad Mabrouka is in a quiet area within walking distance to the Medina, just perfect for our visit to Fez and Meknes.

    Honestly, we have no complaints.

We loved everything--the staff, the room, the location (in the medina but easy to reach by car). The food at the Ryad was also exceptional. They also arranged a wonderful tour guide for us.

Perfect Riad for those looking for an authentic yet relaxing stay.

For the price, the food was quite disappointing. Dinner was 50 USD for 2 people and was ok at best. There are many options in the area so considering the price I'd go somewhere else. The breakfast was just bread three days in a row (albeit with yogurt and fresh OJ). An egg or some olives or something would have been nice.

Overall a fantastic experience! It's within the Medina walls but not in the busy streets of the Medina so you get the best of both worlds (proximity & quiet evenings). The roof view was outstanding and we had a great time lounging and sipping tea while getting our daily dose of sunshine. The garden was a dream as well. Our concierge Mohammed was perhaps the best part of the stay, his smile and personal recommendations made our stay truly memorable.

We can find no fault with the property.

We loved everything about Ryad Mabrouka - the location was great, the property is beautiful, the food was lovely, but most of all Brahim and his team were wonderful hosts.

We loved staying in this ultra-grand ryad in Fes. The bedrooms are spacious and luxurious. The main floor lobby area is like a palace! The garden dining area is tranquil and verdant. The rooftop terrace has a lovely view over all the medina. The location is very close to the medina’s main street. We highly recommend this ryad!

Like many courtyard Riads, sound carries and we were on the ground floor so there wasn’t a lot of privacy. Once the central lights were finally off though our room was dark enough to sleep quite well.

The staff was very gracious, our suite was huge and the riad is beautiful, with a lovely garden and pool, and soaring ceilings.

Wouldn’t change much except maybe being able to park a bit closer. Not a big problem though. Just the way it is with the historical layout of the buildings in the area

The riad was beautiful and peaceful. The gardens were beautiful and the little pool a lovely place to cool off. The food was very nice and it was a bonus to be able to have wine with dinner. Pierre was great to converse with in the evenings and taught us a lot about Moroccan culture and history

We found steps to the toilet quite steep, especially in the middle of the night! A handrail may have helped. A fridge would've been appreciated.

The riad is beautiful. The grounds are stunning; it is an oasis in the midst of a crazy medina. The staff were excellent. We had a problem with the water in our room which was quickly resolved by Pierre and Caroline. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious. We felt well cared for.

Building nearby made it noisy at times, but its temporary.

It was a magnificent old home and the staff like a beautiful, caring family. They were wonderful. They cared for me when i was unwell.prepared my room daily, did my laundry and ironed it, they were very perceptive. Top rate staff. Spoke English quite well and French of course. The garden courtyard filled with birds and had a small tortise. It was tranquil and a charming refuge and the pool cool and clean.

The ryad was renovated to the highest standard. The owners make us feel very welcome, they have an incredible team who delivers the highest standards. The garden is a magical spot where a generous breakfast and outstanding dinners are served daily. Jean Marie the owner has got an excellent wine list to offer as well.
