The towels could be softer, they’re a bit worn out. We found a couple of bugs in the room in the evenings. It’s not surprising in old buildings, in a hot old town so we were not too bothered.

    The staff were wonderful.

Great experience. The restaurant on site is very convenient and serves delicious meals; breakfast was lovely. The room was clean, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. I loved the checkered floors and blue doors. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The room was lovely but the bed was a little hard. I'm sure the staff would have sorted this for us if we'd asked. Otherwise, we loved everything about the place.

We loved our stay at Riad Chamali. All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful - especially Hamza who sorted out lots of things for us to see and do. Including arranging a guided tour and booking a roof top dinner. The rooms were really lovely and the food was great. It was near to everything - just a short walk into the action but a lovely quiet place to retreat to when we needed some quiet time. Our favourite thing was the kittens!

On this occasion we were unhappy with the fact that reception questioned our payment on the day before we checked out. This had been paid in full before our holiday. Fortunately, Booking.com's customer service was able to advise and reassure us that there was no problem with this.

This was our third stay at this riad, because we like it for its peaceful atmosphere, food, and location. The staff who cook, clean and take care of clients are exceptionally helpful and friendly.

It is not a quiet hotel. If you’re near the pool area, everything can be heard. At night, cats roam around and can make a lot of noise. Some guests stayed til late near the pool at night. Also during the day, a group of kids thrashed and made a mess around the pool emptying some of the water without any control.

The room was great and exactly like the photos. The staff was helpful and kind despite having to use google translate from English to Arabic or French. Also, good location.

Cat noises become really disturbing at night, if you have a light sleep like I do you might want to bring some earplugs.

Traditional humble breakfast on a cozy terrace. The room was super clean, amenities they offer were not so many but of top quality. It's located right at the corner of the medina, so we parked our car on the closest main street and went everywhere on foot. The staff was very friendly, they welcomed us with famous moroccan mint tea on arrival. Overall nice option for its value.

The room was dark (it did keep cool during the day which was great ) but at around 5pm it felt way too dark as it was on the bottom floor (could do with some new colorful paint, eg the beautiful blue they have in some rooms to add more brightness). They do have many wonderful rooms just our one wasn’t like on the photos.

Loved the hotel and the location, the staff were absolutely amazing! And so helpful. Loved the hotel so much.

The shower pressure could be better and the hot water was a little temperamental.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Riad Chamali. It was a 15-minute walk from the crowded and busy Jemaa el-Fnaa, which meant that our area was really quiet and pleasant. The beds were comfortable, and there was enough space for all our luggage (we travelled from Asia to Morocco so our bags were bigger). Breakfast is also provided, which was a bonus. The eating area also doubles as a restaurant in the evenings, and serves really great tajines and salads that are cheaper than some of the restaurants in town. Shoutout to the two receptionists, they were fantastic, especially Sa'ad, who was a really honest chap who returned us our money when he realised we overpaid for something. We really appreciated that.

Shower water felt really cold at night, had to interrupt my shower because the water got so cold and didn’t warm up. careful if you wanna take a shower late at night!

Little far from the Medina and the square, but it gives you the privacy and quiet you’re looking for. lovely and helpful, generous staff!

Breakfast rather repetitive and poor selection which is a little surprising given the quality of the rest of the Riad (orange juice, not drink and three different types of bread)

Really lovely bedroom with a great bathroom and good quality shampoo and hand soap. little plunge pool and great terrace to have an evening drink

Because it’s a riad, you don’t have standard locks for your room. it’s part of the experience, but is a little unnerving initially. wouldn’t want them to change this, it’s part of the culture and experience

location was nice, secluded, quiet and safe, but still close enough to the Medina to that you could get to it very quickly

Breakfast was only breads, jam, juice and coffee and was exactly the same everyday. Would have liked some protein. It just felt a bit stingy. We did not like the location. About 15 minute walk to where the action is. Wished we had booked something in the centre.

Riad was very stylish and clean. Staff was nice and always friendly

I'm working remotely during the afternoon/night so I really need stable WiFi. Although I've read in other comments that the WiFi here is one of the best in old town but don't count on it for stable video conference calls. To be fair, the room is also not hotel clean.

Located in a safe neighbourhood south of Medina, the Riad is quiet and not too far from the main street where you can get Taxi. It's a 10min walk to Place des Ferblantiers, and another 10 to the Medina. The courtyard and room are nicely curated. The staff on site are super nice and helpful to guide me to places to eat and tour around. The breakfast was not bad but not splendid - some bread & juice. The pool is nice and not too shallow, great for the scorching afternoon of Marrakech.

Breakfast is great and the location too. It is so quiet but near everything, you really are in a riad and you know it when you arrive. People are the most friendly - Hanza is one of the best hosts you can have in Morocco, almost as family! If you need anything just let him know.
