Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe beds were a bit hard, but that's typical for Morocco.
You really are welcomed and made comfortable right away. We were a family of 4, wanting to first camp one night in the desert. Then, to check in at Mohayut the next morning. I highly recommend booking with Mohayut and let them know that you'd like them to organize a camel ride and camping through them in your messages. This allows for very smooth communication!! We arrived at 5:00pm. The kids immediately jumped in the pool and we put our valuables in a secure room in reception. At 6pm, we were picked up for camel ride and camping. Everything was planned well and communication was very clear. (For 50$ pp): We rode camels to the desert, sand boarded, watched the sunset, then rode further to our camp. Dinner was served promptly, then music around a fire. Breakfast was at 7am the next morning and then we were driven back to the hotel and we're able to get into our room right away. I highly recommend doing this instead of booking a camp separate from the hotel. It was such a great relaxing day at the hotel. A perfect rest between Marrakech and Fes.

PolandTo get to the restaurants or shops you need to use car, it is too far to go on foot.
Very nice hotel, with swimming pool in the middle, maze of corridors, and nice view on desert from few spots. A lot of parking places, camels and sand. I would visit it again.

BelgiumAmazing Kasbah at the desert. Great location nearby Merzouga to do several activities (camel ride, quad, buggy, ..). Spacious rooms with very cosy terraces to have dinner/breakfast. Refreshing swimming pool where you can stay after check-out. Also possibility to drop your luggage for a day. Friendly staff who makes you feel welcome.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was so so considering the price for the hotel.
The property is quite nice - albeit dusty and a bit worn in - but luxurious for the area. Breakfast was included but lacking protein - mostly Moroccan pastries, with a little lackluster fruit. Dinner was good. The best part was our large room with windows on either side and a bench and table area. The pool was pretty but I did not have a chance to try it out. Loved the camel fountain! Parking is good and protected. I would stay here again.

We were given a room in the private house that opens directly onto the desert and had the entire place to ourselves. Mustafa and Rozha who cooked for us were so friendly. We stayed just one night but wished it could’ve been longer. Merzouga is very quiet this time of year and we practically had the dunes to ourselves too.

United States of AmericaWe were lucky enough to stay at the Desert House where we had excellent breakfast and dinner in the comfort of our house and relaxed out on the porch for afternoon tea. It was like a little piece of paradise in the desert! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and make the stay one of our best in Morocco. We also did the overnight camel trek which was excellent.

BelgiumThe lighting in the bathroom was so dark you could hardly see. No water pressure in the shower, but I guess this is because we are in the desert. Lots of nice plants in the inner courtyard and gardens, but they need watering. Swimming pool is a good size but also needs a bit ot TLC.
We spent three nights at kasbah Mohayut. The place is nice and quiet and in a good location, with the dunes in walking distance at the back of the kasbah. We had an issue with a blocked sink and that was taken care of straight away. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially a young lad named Youness who spoke good English. We enjoyed a very peaceful camel ride into the desert camp. Dinner at the camp was a little bit disorganised, but the guys were so friendly and entertained us with traditional music... Overall, it was a good trip out to the dunes. Breakfast was plentyful, and always with yummy pancakes, fresh orange juice, mint tea/coffee. The Sunday breakfast was specially delicious with additional traditional pastries.
