Everything was absolutely perfect!

we had an amazing stay at Le Gîte du Barrage this past weekend! The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, making us feel right at home. The hosts (Specially Fatima) were warm and welcoming, offering great recommendations for local activities.

Away from the city and surrounded by real maroccan countryside and country life this place was a good choice. Not so easy to find - follow the owner's instructions. Room and food was a great value.

It's a beautiful laid back location. Rooms are simple but very comfortable, there is a balcony, the coon area has sofas to sit and a little restaurant space. The food was very tasty and breakfast had a lot of variants. The personnel is just extremely pleasent and polite. The place is just so peaceful and quite. I strongly recommend.

Our stay at Le Gite du Barrage was exceptional. Located just 15 minutes from Ifrane, it offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with tea which makes you feel in a homely atmosphere. The rooms were clean and well-prepared with toiletries provided for our convenience. The meals were with a unique savour, freshly made with local ingredients, offering a delicious and authentic dining experience. Overall, the hospitality and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely come back!

Nice little family run accomodation up in rural area. We stayed in a room with couch and double and 2 singles, so plenty of room for the two of us. The view is good. We had dinner and breakfast, which were both good! The hosts were lovely.

The location is unclear through an unpaved road. Google Maps took us in the wrong direction. Maybe putting road signs would help ppl get there quicker.

It was very comfortable and clean. It was also fairly quiet at night but the terrace seemed a bit unfinished.

The staff were fantastic. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Also the home cooking was exceptional. Beautiful authentic food. What particularly impressed me was a selection of Moroccan breads at breakfast all made fresh daily.

Everything was really great! For us, the location was perfect. But you have to be aware that you are dependent on the car to go to any other places. And one minor recommendation to our hosts: a shower curtain would be great to protect the floor in the bathroom from becoming too wet.

We have experienced outstanding hospitality at Le Gîte du Barrage! Fatima is the perfect host, and she made us feel at home. She organized a mini fridge so that we could store our baby's medicine in our room. She washed the baby's clothes, and she was entertaining our little daughter during breakfast. We have never had such relaxed breakfasts before! :) The breakfast was also one of the best ones that we have enjoyed so far in Marocco - and the dinners were definitely the best ones we have tried in the whole trip! Fatima is a very good cook!! We have stayed for 4 nights and would definitely come back at any time! The beds are very comfortable and the view from our room over the valley was amazing! Thanks a lot for everything, Fatima!

Le Gite Du Barrage offers a relaxing atmosphere, the staff are super nice which is a real add-on to the experience. the Location is outstanding with beautiful views and only 5 minute's walk from the barrage. Also, the rooms are spacious and well-maintained.

My family and I loved our stay at le Gite du garage. Fatema is a wonderful host, pays attention to details and brings a lot of positive energy, accommodation were no frills but comfortable, the view from the room and surroundings is stunning, I highly recommend a walk on the road leading to the village before sunset. Food was delicious. My little boys loved playing in the garden and seeing the sheep come back to the village at the end of the day, they still talk about it. Go there, you will be supporting a local a family and get to know the real Moroccan countryside. Will definitely come back.

Perfect quiet stop on way to Merzouga from Chefchaouen. Lovely family. We had view over the valley. Home cooked meal. Nicest trout I have had for awhile.

We received a warm and friendly welcome from Fatima. The dinner was one of our best in Morroco. Fatima made a beautiful vegetarian tangine for my wife that was delicious. If you need an escape from the towns this is the perfect place.
