Wonderful Experience at Dar Lahlou in Tangier Staying at Dar Lahlou was a true delight! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Tangier, allowing me to easily explore the city. The charm of the traditional Moroccan decor made the whole experience feel very authentic and memorable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the rooftop terrace was simply breathtaking! It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring, with stunning views over the city and sea. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a great balance of modern amenities and classic Moroccan design. I highly recommend Dar Lahlou to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Tangier!

The bedrooms do not have external windows, and can get a little stuffy, particularly the double room with only a tiny window to the stairwell. We slept with the bedroom door open, but with that came noise. Not a problem for our group, and the gorgeous views were worth it.

The apartment is in a wonderful location, with panoramic views, just as shown in the photos. Access was easy, and the owner very helpful. We chose not to cook, but that was certainly possible with the equipment provided. The living room was very comfortable for snoozing. It is noisy of course, but it faces the port, so hey! We could see Spain from our sofa. Bedrooms were a reasonable size, and beds comfortable. Bathroom smallish but had all that we needed. I would certainly stay again, and would recommend to travellers who are able to manage stairs and don't mind some noise at night.

Perfect location with sweeping water views. Great host who was communicative and gave us privacy. The apartment overlooks a small square so it’s lovely at sunset with people chatting below. Cute little coffee shop below brings your coffees up to you. A beautiful well appointed apartment in a very safe, lovely location in walking distance to many attractions.

To be honest the begging overtook our short stay. We stayed in our apartment more than we wanted because it became too overwhelming. Constantly hounded. We set out to have authentic Moroccan food. Do not eat at the top of the main street in Old Medina where all the vendors are. They bring you food you didn’t order and overcharge you even though you question the menu prices, they charged us more than double. All about getting quantity of people in the restaurant not quality at all.

Apartment was really nice. Clean and a good view. Omar was very nice. He came to help us earlier than our check in time and brought us more TP when we requested. (Request more TP or bring some with you) The restaurants on the main strip by the water were good.

Fantastic location, clean , well equipped. Omar made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to help us with every aspect of our trip. You would be foolish to book another apartment. Love that view.

This clean and spacious apartment was ideal for my friend and I and in a perfect location. We felt safe here and it's location just on the edge of the medina and close to the Hotel Continental made it easy for us to navigate around and we could easily find our way home. The views from the large window over the bay and port are stunning and there is a rooftop terrace offering the same views. We appreciated the traditional and cute decor and all facilities were as advertised. Omar (host) and Jamal (caretaker) were very responsive and helpful and made our first visit to Tangier an easy experience.

Everything was great

The property is located in the old town of Tanger but not in the middle of it which makes it easier to move around without getting lost 😉 I’d say that we couldn’t have imagined a better location for this city! Also, it was close to everything (Restaurants, beach walk, little markets…)

The location was amazing and very safe! The view was so nice and the shops were nearby. Our host Omar was the best he took really good care of us and we could ask him anything! I really really recommend staying here. If i will visit again I would definitely book this accommodation.

Our only problem was the short time to stay in Tangier. However, we will be back and book again the same place.

Might be a little noisy (as its medina) in the evening with people loudly talking - closed windows dont block the sounds, but the two bedrooms are in the back of the apartment and are quiter

Nice, full of light apartment in Tangier medina. The host is friendly and helpful. The view over the square and the port is nice. It's right near the Corniche Merkala - the best walking street to enjoy the sunset

The location is absolutely perfect. Right next to Hotel Continental! This made it easy to pick up the keys, direct our taxis, and find our way back after getting lost in the streets! Omar even fixed the room to have rose petals for our honeymoon. The aesthetic of the apartment is very comfy.

A bit pricy for Moroco.

Perfect location to be right in the medina and walk around. The view is amazing! The host was very responsive and available. We had everything we needed to cook, bed are comfy and quiet at night. There is a nice rooftop terrasse to enjoy even more the view.
