Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyIt can be paid only cash, no credit card (but we solved using the credit card in another Riad owned by same owner, just 5 minutes walking from Dar Aida.
Dar Aida is a very nice Riad in Rabat. Position is excellent as you are few minutes far from the beach and from the local market (Suq). There is a park just 5 minutes walking. Room was small but nice, very clean. The Riad was very nice too and also very typical. Breakfast was great, good and plentiful. The most relevant think was the kindness of the staff. The Manager was very friendly and helpful.

United StatesThis is a small very beautiful hotel! It is situated in a very peaceful side road inside the old Medina right by the fresh food market. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They took out clothes to be laundered and helped us lug our suitcases through the town! The building is filled with beautiful traditional marrocan details and well kept! The breakfast was very good and the housekeeper very friendly!

United StatesThe Wifi was very spotty, perhaps because I was in a room upstairs.
The staff was excellent and very responsive. Majid took time to walk me to exchange money. He and I had several conversations. I felt that I knew him for a long time. The staff who work with him were awesome as well.

IrelandEverything was great!! They even let us choose the room when we arrived.
We loved it, we were the ones at the Riad. My partner broke his phone the night before and he had to catch 3 flights… they printed all the boarding passes and made sure that everything was good. I would definitely recommend it!! Breakfast was great aswell, and the rooms.

United KingdomThere was no hair dryer other than that I literally I cannot fault anything else at all. We want to come again and we hope to do so in the future.
As soon as we got there we were upgraded to Dar Alia which was a much bigger more beautiful Riad and we could not have been happier. It was so stunning and our Riad Manager Abdul Majid was so amazing. He treated us so well and gave 5 star service which was way beyond our expectations.

RussiaRabat was the first city in our trip to Morocco. Thanks to Dar Aida and personally Majid and Sophie our stay in Rabat was perfect. The hotel is wonderful, located near the entrance to medina, so that it didn’t take much to find it, with a nice inner hall, like in a traditional riad. The room was big, with everything necessary, shower and a toilet. The breakfast was great, a traditional Morrocan one. Totally recommend this hotel!

United KingdomNothing much not to dislike. If you are looking for lots of things to do in Rabat like tourist places. They can be done in 2 days.
Abdul Majid and his staff were really good and helpful. The old Medina house was traditional decor and very nicely kept. Location is ideal for beach and the souk and getting to tram and the main sites. Do expect luxury in old house and traditional location.

RomaniaThe guests are exceptional people, very keen on helping you have a great stay. Moroccan hospitality at its best could be found in this riad. They gave us moroccan tea when we arrived and even when we left they gave us some oranges to have during our flight. Also, they let us keep our baggages in the room for a few more hours after the checkout, which is a big plus when you have a flight late in the afternoon. Definitely recommend this location for every tourist visiting Rabat, as it's right in the heart of the medina, pretty close to all the main tourist attractions, restaurants, shops etc.

United StatesA couple of nasty foreigners who stayed one night.
Incredibly gracious, friendly and helpful host Majid. Advised us where to eat including prices, food quality and directions. The riad is comfortable, well maintained and remarkably clean. We are picky travelers who have several options, but choose to go local, not slick and loved being here. We will advise our friends and family to stay here. We advise you to do so also.
