It took a lot of persuasion to get the room changed even though some of the lights were not working. We did ask for a quiet room but we did end up in a very noisy room.

The room we were initially given had lights that didn't work so we were moved. The second room was much better. It was bigger and had a jacuzzi bath as well as a shower. Good location for getting around and close to bus and train station. However, as the room was at the front and did not have air conditioning we had to open the windows and there was a lot of traffic noise. Lovely little bar but not open very late.

The location of the hotel is very central, within walking distance to the Old Town and other places to see. The room was big enough, clean and spacious, and was cleaned every day. The hotel staff was also friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite filling and varied.

Superior double room. Tea/ coffee & kettle provided, and 1 bottle water. Mini fridge. Safe. Good bathroom. Large room. Fifth floor. City view of busy street. Very quiet room, no traffic noise. Warm. Breakfast good choice. No congestion serve yourself.

Only two things were there negative-there was no air conditioning in the bathroom and there was no closing door in the shower. Basically when you are having a shower then all water goes over the toilet and the sink and the toilet rolls-nothing stops the water from coming over the place . During and after the shower there is no air conditioning and bathroom stayed wet and steamy. I Was lucky to stay there only for one night but if I had to stay there 3-4 nights the bathroom would be a nightmare

The room (no.420) was really, really hot. When booking it said there was airconditioning, but none whatsoever: the temperature was too high with sleepless night as a result. For me, this would be a reason not to come back in (late) summer.

Did not go to the bar as it was empty and sad-looking. There is space (tables and chairs) for an outdoor terrasse but the hotel did not put that to use.

The room was very nice with a fridge and safe. Location was great right next to the train station and a short walk to the old town. Breakfast was fine with hot and cold options in a buffet arrangement.

They are currently changing the mini fridges and ours was one of the old ones and didn't work. The bathroom extractor didn't work. The bed and bath tube were very high, which could be a problem for older or mobility reduced people.

Very spacious room with comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. The location was great, just next to the train & bus station and to the old town. Although there are no acs in the rooms, a fan was provided. Staff was always ready to help when asked.

The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. The food selection didn’t change at all during the three days of our stay. On one of the days, they even removed the fresh pastries. There was only one type of sausagea and cheese available. Fresh vegetables were also lacking, with only either cucumbers or tomatoes being offered. Additionally, the juices were watered down. Another downside was the lack of air conditioning in the room.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful, housed in a historic building. The location is perfect, with easy access to both the old town and the train station. Additionally, it was convenient to safely leave our luggage at the hotel.

The shower area would be better with a door or curtains, to avoid the water from splashing all over the place. As the hotel is in front of the central station, it was difficult to keep the windows open, as it was very noisy.

The shower wasn’t great - the shower head wouldn’t fix into the holder properly so was stuck at an awkward angle facing the wall which made showering a bit annoying, especially if short!

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to station and the city centre. Room was lovely and clean with gorgeous period features and a comfy bed. There was decent air conditioning which was helpful in the summer heat.
