Misinformation about spa prices on their website, they said sorry, and that's the fault with the guys making the website, but it should not really be my problem, should it. Price was reasonable, but when making a booking they had completely different price and conditions. One night of our stay there was a wedding booked by outsider group, not actual guests. And they were pretty loud. There's no real soundproofing in this building, and the number with best view was actually directly above banquet area. If I knew there's a wedding planned, I would've not booked. Luckily our baby daughter is a tight sleeper, but me and my wife are not. Receptionist #2 was not so friendly, and did not have any painkillers on the desk, I wonder if they at least have a simple first aid kit on hand. One of the receptionists (#3) did not speak Latvian, which is not a big deal for me, but might annoy some of the locals. Childrens playground was rundown, wood got old and splintery. They also had a little piers/platform in the past, but it's gone now. Paid breakfast was the probably most "meh" breakfast I had in my life. It had bare minimum, and the dining area was pretty, you could dine outside with a view on the lake, but the food selection was minimal. Hotel is very close to a highway, with some of the rooms having view on the highway, and coupled with bad soundproofing it may be annoying for sensitive people. Closest beach may be too far for you if you're pedestrian. No shops and minimal transportation as well. No minifridge.

Interior was nice. Groundskeeping looked on point. There was a pool table on top floor, with a nice view outside. Room itself was nicely decorated. One of the receptionists was polite and helpful. There's great lake right in front of the hotel with sup boards and boats for rent. Okay for simply swimming too. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Closest beach has a nice cafe.

Really thin walls, no sound proff. Really got tired, heard all night long, people coming home after night out, because of thin walls no pease and quitness at all. Breakfast not good, food ration small, almost no healthy options. Restaraunt expensive, but food just average, nothing special. Waiters doesnt speak in english, even young ones. All hotel needs renovation, everything is worn down. I wont recomend, because price is quite high for what you get.

We stopped in Porto Resort for one night on our way to Ryga. The location is perfect. Just next to the main road. There is a nice lake. There is a possibility to rent a boat or swim in the lake. In the garden you will find a playground.

The room was small and dark. The carpet in the room was dirty. We would rather not have been chosen the breakfast because it was not tasty and panckakes were undercooked.

The most thing I liked about this hotel was restaurant and area which is close to the lake.

Worn-out summer hotel (?) that has seen its best days long ago. We took a "better room" and it was also terrible. Ancient carpet, super uncomfortable and hard beds and a sad sofa. All so dated. Even though the room was cleaned, it felt untidy due to its sheer age. There was space in the room, but almost no counter space to place your things. In addition, the TV in the room was broken, the window blind was broken and the Wi-Fi was slow. Perhaps the saddest thing was that nowhere was mentioned in advance that the hotel's restaurant was closed. And the hotel is middle of nowhere. So when we got to the hotel in the late evening after a long and rainy day of driving, we had to go straight back to the road to get something to eat. In the morning one of the staff came to tell us that the electricity will be cut of soon…! We rushed to the breakfast and luckily got something to eat before everything went dark. Had to find our room with the help of mobile phone flashlight. This was a catastrophe for a hotel and too expensive to its standard.

The staff tried their best, 👍🏻 for them. Otherwise I wouldn't go again.

The building is marvellous from outside,but inside the situation is completely different.We stayed in winter-we couldn't go to the bathroom -it was cold..The same in the room-freezing...No Tv channels,only few.-3 or max. 6. Dirty pillow and carpet.

The water has an iron smell. No hairdryer. The stove is very old, it is impossible to heat anything. Lots of old furniture. There is no TV or Bluetooth speaker. There was a grill, but at one point it disappeared, probably not enough for all the guests. Air conditioners would be required on the second floor. No Wi-Fi. There was no coffee or tea on site either. I think the price is too high.

There is a large children's playground next to it. The house was clean, two showers. A cosmetic repair has been made.

A lot has been said about the rooms already (they are as small as advertised on booking) bur you also share a terrace with all the other rooms and people constantly walk by your window and terrace door. The shower head was barely working.
