Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly, and were happy to help where they could. They even added Kefir to the breakfast when I mentioned that that is what I prefer. I do not often stay in hotels but this was a very positive experience. Excellent value for the price I paid.

Relatively small hotel in Utena, room was for one person, small but very comfortable. Bed is fine, shower had hot water, comfortable pillows. Temperature was fine as well, my windows were looking towards forest. For the breakfast i do recommend to ask for omlette :) home made came with vegetables, cup of coffee from machine is also available. few cheese and ham for choice. homelike breakfast. parking was free.

GermanyFacilities offered were very poor. Would you believe when I say that there was no wardrobe in the room! It took almost 3 days to heat up the room. Very bad internet connection which was dropping every 20 minutes and streaming was not working. Bathroom shower didn't have any soap holders. On top of all these the attitude of staffs were very unwelcoming as well. One of the worst experiences I've ever had! Nb: They don't have elevators and consider this if you have luggages and are getting rooms in upper floors.
Only place around offering breakfast. Free parking. Everything was clean and tidy.

PolandA tacky hotel on the outskirts of the city, walls and doors without soundproofing - a snoring neighbor is like in your room. Conversation in the corridor - feel like you are participating in it. No room service for 3 nights, garbage spilling out. The restaurant is closed. Breakfast poor with poor quality products... and the price? European.

LithuaniaThe pool and sauna are still not operating even though that’s not mentioned anywhere in the hotel description (only in some reviews from 2020), so paying this price just to get a room seems unfair. Limited choise of breakfast options. The room was average, not all corners were cleaned though.
The staff was exceptional, very helpful and friendly.
