The water in the shower and sink stinks bad. Would be great to have coffee in a room, there was some tea though. The chef of a restaurant had to act as a waitress as well as they are understaffed, she managed great, the food was delicious and we got all we wanted. I felt sorry though that the owners do not respect their employees making them cover for it all. We had to tell at our arrival what we are going to eat and at what time, cause there was no other way for one person at the restaurant to do it all without planning and serve all the guests. The facilities are maybe comfortable but quite old, you can see that there are no investment in here as a place for guests. Strict times for a restaurant, breakfast from 9 to10, spa 6 to 8 pm , leaving the territory before 12. It was fine for us this time but we usually like more flexifibility.

The nature is beautiful, a lot of space, fresh weather, trees, birds, lake. The food at the restaurant was delicious, the breakfast was also great. The room was old but quite comfortable.

The water in the tanks smelt of metal which is what you get when the water has been there in a metal tank for long and is what you get on trains. The smell doesn’t leave you even if you shower and use a lot of perfume.

This is a great facility but if they’re going to advertise to International clients, having English speaking folks to answer the phone is a must. Fortunately, a girl called Aista assisted me AFTER I arrived and she was extremely helpful. Also, having breakfast open at 9am is not useful. Most people who need breakfast need it between 7 and 9am on a working day. And there is no coffee also in the rooms.

Not clear communication at the reception, no communication at all (we found locked doors at the reception and at the restaurant), tried to call- nothing, also we were asked to order our dinner as quick as possible before 3 hours at the reception. In booking.com there was written that sauna time will be on weekends 18:00-20:00, but when we called they changed the time to 16:00-18:00, and we were already on the road, so that was very inconvenient communication.

The hotel is extremely understaffed, therefore everything takes very long. When we arrived the same person was working the reception, cleaning, taking care of everything at the hotel and also was the only waitress at a packed restaurant during peak dinner hours. She was very polite and was doing her best, but that amount of work is not feasible for one person. We had to wait a long time to even order dinner, which was also made by one kitchen worker for all the guests. The dinner was also very overpriced for the quality we received. We bought access to the spa, but it was not clearly visible when booking that spa is only accessible between 18:00 and 20:00 and we arrived late, so we paid for nothing.

The property rules and organization is inconvenient: - Spa zone only works for 2 hours in the evening - why? On Fridays most of people come after work and won't be able to enjoy spa, as it's closed 19:00. - on Sundays everyone is expected to leave after 12:00. The weather was great and I wanted to stay by the lake for longer. Thanks for receptionists who agreed to open the gates and let me out afterwards. However, she wasn't happy about it. It was clearly stated that I was supposed to leave the area after check-out. Why? - Talking about leaving early on Sundays, don't expect to have lunch here. Kitchen closes after breakfast time. - there are really nice forest paths around Oro Dubingiai. However, closed gates make it inconvenient to leave the resort - you have to call the reception everytime, For example, I wanted to go for a run in the forest without my phone, but I had to take it just so I can get out. - It would be nice to have a small fridge or a kettle in the room - if you have a proper espresso machine in the restaurant, make sure it's fully working and available for guests. Thanks to the guy who agreed to make espresso for me (cappuccino was impossible, as the milk steamer didn't work)

Entrance gate are always closed. Every time when you want go outside, need to call to administrator.

We stayed 2 nights. The place is worn out, we had to change rooms twice as door lock was not working, toilet was not flushing. Restaurant service is unhygienic. Breakfast very poor, flies on food.

dinner would have been terrible if not for the pre-ordered sampan. we arrived from Saturday to Sunday. the restaurant has ~30-40 tables x 4 and only two guys served. I would like to point out that the guys were very patient and polite, the dishes were very tasty, like homemade. but the restaurant management...how to say..., we haven't seen this kind of service since .....soviet times. we waited 30 minutes to get our drinks. we had an experience in such places but unfortunately it took 30 minutes to realize where we were. so we had to come to the bar to order drinks and a main course. can you imagine a queue at a restaurant ~ 10 customers waiting to order food or pay? this queue lasted 45 min. some families with crying children aged 3-7 decided to leave the queue at 9 p.m. and went to the gas station to eat. Then we were shocked, we saw a family with a 2-3 month old child who bought a trip with dinner. they waited for a courses till 10 PM! we could not calm our emotions and look at the crying children and the desperate looks of the parents while they waited for their meals. OWNERS, PLEASE LOOK AROUND, YOU HAVE A SETUP IN A BEAUTIFUL LOCATION. PLEASE IMPROVE THE MANAGEMENT, INVEST IN THE SPA (THE WATERFALL DIDN'T WORK), HIRE MORE POSITIVE STAFF LIKE NORBERTAS. AND YOU WILL RECEIVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK.
