Pretty steep and squeaky wooden stairs up to the room and not too much of a lightning in there.

Very much a self-service thing, no formalities. Easy parking, though in the middle of Birzai. At least at this time of the year (and week) very silent place. Had chosen 'sandwich' option for breakfast (at exstra cost) and didn't know what to expect. Got a platter of bread and a huge platter of cheese, cold cuttings, vegetables etc. Nice.

Communication could be improved as hotel answered my questions, but when I ordered breakfast, got no response and we're not sure if we'll get it. Would be nice just "Ok" os something. The shower was not working in our room (No 5, hope it's fixed). In the morning at the reception said that most probably someone adjusted it incorrectly, but in another room with same "adjustments" it worked as expected. Yet if it was actually adjusted by someone, maybe it would be nice to have instruction in the room for such fancy showers. There is not so little gap under the room doors so all sounds from the corridor is clear in the room. Some photos includes a kettle in the room. Our bad that we didn't read description that ours does not include it but it's such a basic equipment so it was unpleasant surprise. My partner was not happy to find few hairs and some dirtyness in the bed although sheets looked fresh, so who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Location is good, we parked on the street in front of hotel (only few spaces in hotels territory), street is calm so it's ok. Breakfast were nice and tasty (5eur per person, has to be ordered upfront). Rooms are on the 3rd floor with quite steep stairs, so just have that in mind when booking.

The bathroom needs updating. The floors are very squeaky so lots of noise in the middle of the night if you go to the bathroom. The rooms are not quite sound proof, you can hear people in other rooms.

The hospitality was great! At first when we arrived it was not exactly as I imagined, but the rooms did not look quite like I saw in the pictures online. But after speaking to the owner, he did everything possible to make the stay better and ensured us we would be comfortable in our stay. It's under new owners just recently and renovations are being made.

The room was dirty (spiderwebs, dust, hair on the bedsheets). Photos of the room were probably done 20 years ago. You could hear other guests so loudly from the next door. We stayed with 2.5 old child and would not recommend it at all.
