It was very quiet when we visited so no proper bar/restaurant facilities but staff more than happy to grab you a couple of beers or make some food if requested.

During our stay there was no cook present, so most of the menu was unavailable.

The room window looked out into the bar and pool area which meant that the curtain had to be kept closed most of the time for privacy. This area of Weligama does not have the cleanest of beaches! Very much litter making it feel a tad grubby. If I were to go back I would stay further towards Galle.

The room was basic but comfortable with good ac and a lovely hot shower. Bathroom and bedroom were very clean. The breakfast was good and enough. I had grilled prawns for dinner which were very tasty. Staff were friendly.

We had an issue with the air conditioning on our first night arrival. It wasn't working, the room was stifling hot and the unit was spilling water down the wall. The staff moved us to another room which in fact was at another building all together, but that didn't matter for the one night. The next day, the unit was still not fixed and we were told to move again to another room and then we would be back the nigh after. This was not ideal as we were expected to move from room to room without easy access to our luggage. My husband had a bit of an argument that if we were to move in another room ,we were staying there for the remainder. We were not moving again or we wanted a refund and go elsewhere. To be fair, the manager agreed we could move in to a bigger room and stay put. That was fine for us.

The location was good, right opposite the beach known as "Surfer's Paradise". The pool area was lovely and plenty of sun loungers if you wanted to chill. The breakfast was good and plentiful, choices of 4 different kinds. The rooms were large and clean. The staff friendly and polite. The accommodation was located not far from the busy town centre and the railway station. Easily enough to walk but very quick by tuk tuk. A few bars and restaurants located along the main street and down some of the side roads.

We had two rooms… one room was awesome, but another had a smell of dampness.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. We could see the ocean from our balcony. Just across the road it’s a surfing beach for beginners. The breakfast was decent and nice.. not big variety though. The pool was clean as well and never crowded.

The Kitchen at the Resort Closes very early (9pm), but we got packed food from outside and sat till a bit late for which they did not object . Mosquito Menace (lots of them) .

Excellent Location, Rooms and bathrooms could have been a little bigger but nevertheless were clean , breakfast at the resort was basic but tasted good .the staff and the owner were friendly and helped us with other eatery options and reservations. Pool was very clean with Loungers.

Staff is very friendly. So genuine and kind, always ready to help and very welcoming. Very clean. Someone is always sweeping or cleaning. The rooms were clean and comfortable and air-conditioning worked great. Location for us was perfect. Directly across the street from the best part of the surf break. Lots of places to rent boards right there. Very easy walk to mant restaurants and town. Exceeded expectations and would definitely recommend. Great value for what you get. Breakfast included, was filling and good.

The Location and the Pool is fantastic. Clean Room, comfy bed. Breakfast was great as well. A great choice. The Hotel staff helped me change a flat tyre on our Tuk Tuk as well.
