Only got one towel. Two would be better for when washing your hair. He did provide a top sheet, which was great, but it had seen better days. A fresh newer one would leave a better impression. The place caters to Russian clients with signs everywhere in Russian language. I personally didn't meet any to talk too but I was doing my own thing.

The owner was helpful. I had room top floor at back. Quiet, which I appreciated. Air con was great and also fan. It is right on main thoroughfare but only 5 minutes from the street which has all the restaurants, beach access, and hotels etc. There are some great eating options a few minutes on same road. I was able to rent a motor scooter from the owner.. there is a lounging area up top and you can also use fridge and cut up your own fruits etc.

Would be good to double check your booking as I didn't have a mosquito net in the room even though it said it was included. This was fixed straight away when I asked though.

It's less than 10 minutes walk to Unawatuna beach and is on the main road so there are plenty of shops, food places, and bus stops close by. There is a gate to get onto the property so it's separated from the main road. Any issues were dealt with immediately and the manager was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was in russian and not in English. Wifi doesn't work properly. Really noisy (loud russians) and doors were thin. Staff was pleasant.

The rooms were clean, modern and had mostly everything needed. The A/C and fan were working great. Location is alright, mostly everything in walking distance. Good value for the money

Room was tiny, but it was ok for us. You should open the window or use AC to prevent accumulation of humidity inside. but anyway it was comfy stay

We stayed in the room on the ground floor and so many insects were in the room, especially in the bathroom.

Nice place for one or two days stay. Close to bus station and the beach. The hotel has generator that is very convenient during turns off the the light as common practice in Sri Lanka.

The room was a little noisy, I don't know if it was the window itself or running water somewhere. I just threw in the old earplugs as usual and it was grand.

Staff were really nice and the location is a short walk to Unawatuna beach. There are many restaurants and shops close to the beach.

I wouldn't let my dogs sleep here. Pure filth. Doesn't cost anything to clean. No need for it. Left early . I don't live like a pig at home so why would I pay to and stay there.

all our clothes were damp after staying here. there was an awful smell to the room. kitchen fridge was disgusting with bugs in the freezer. cockroach in room. bathroom window permanently open with wire sticking through, so high risk for theft. banging noises from 8am onwards.
