We like to receive a welcome fresh juice. The building from the architect Geoffrey Bawa is very beautiful with a tasteful decoration. Spacious bedrooms and good mattress.

Beautiful views across Kandy especially with breakfast on the patio. We also had dinner one night which was delicious and would highly recommend. The hosts helped us with arranging tuktuks and train tickets and it's a short walk/drive into town. Kandy is a very busy city so even out of the main centre you will still here the traffic and train horns etc from this location. The bed was super comfy and everything was very clean.

it is a beautiful property high above the hustle and bustle of Kandy Town and yet only short Tuk Tuk ride away from the stunning lake. Buena Vista has a beautiful, in fact stunning outlook. “vista” the manager and the cook were so Charming and accommodating.

Everything was amazing. from the outstanding breakfast to the kind staff, this place is perfect for couples who like some peace and quiet away from the busy city. We stayed here two nights. The ambiance is stunning, the rooms are very clean and peaceful and the breakfast is grandiose. The host arranged a tuktuk driver and we ended up spending the entire day with him; a fair price and very reliable.

Friendly host who helped us with airport transfers and train tickets before we arrived. The host, who was running the day to day at the guesthouse, was extremely friendly and made us great breakfasts. Big rooms, spotlessly clean and decent bathroom. Nice terrace with comfy chairs. The real bonus of this place is the amazing views of the city from the terrace and rooms. You are just 5-10 mins by tuktuk from the centre but far enough away from the noise etc and it provides a great place to chill out after exploring Kandy.

If you need tuktuk in Kandy or from Kandy to somewhere, ask about driver Ravi. Cool guy, he know a lot of interesting about lanka, can show you a lot of interesting places around for reasonable price. One of very few which dont see you only as a walking wallet.

We like the concept of the property as we have visited many places of Jeffery Bawa's creations. Also have to remember the staff. Very humble and welcoming people.Had a lovely time. Felt like home. We are planning to go again.
