It was extremely hot and hard to sleep - please do consider installing AC units in some rooms!! We would happily pay double and more for more comfort.

The location is unbeatable! Value for money 100/100 The view from our room was amazing and we had a good time. The host family was super helpful, they seem like the nicest people ever. I’d gladly stay again. FYI the building is still under construction as they add new floors and rooms. We didn’t see any workers, there was no noise and the construction site didn’t bother us at all!!! But please adjust your expectations

The property could do with some overall cleaning up. There were layers of dust and cobwebs in plenty of areas, both in the room and in the communal area.

We had an amazing experience with the friendliest host family imaginable :). The simple but just right equipped rooms look just like in the pictures. The homestay is situated on a beautiful little beach with direct few on the neighboring coconut tree hill. You can swim and snorkel and we saw turtles while snorkeling and from the beach. Mirissa beach is a nice 15 min walk on the beach or a short Tuktuk drive away. We hardly went there, because the lovely little beach with its fisher boots was much better for us. Many restaurants in short walking distance. The breakfast is very good, with a special something every day. The host family is just great and so helpful and friendly. We learned a lot from them. Our daughters (6 and9) liked them very much. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka, we are sure to come again. Thank you very much!

I was overall happy with my stay.

The family were most welcoming, kind hearted and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and the view of the ocean from the balcony was nice. Breakfast was very good and served in a communal area, giving the opportunity to meet others. Next to turtle Beach, close to Mirissa Beach and a bus stop is close by. Quiet at night time and able to get a peaceful sleep.

The fan speed was not high, even at 5, I didn't feel much air. I asked for a table fan, but that wasn't available in the property.

The property is just a walking distance from the main beach, and a stone throw away from the Coconut Tree Hill. The breakfast provided was real nice, and they also allowed me to keep my luggage after check-out while I explored the city a little more.

A house right on the beach with a beautiful view of palm trees and water, a spacious room, with a comfortable bed and fresh linens. Very nice family. Sri Lankan breakfasts, very tasty. Quiet and peaceful. The sound of the ocean gave a lot of relaxation. Large terrace with views. Highly recommended 🙏😊

It’s not that I didn’t like it, but the breakfast was quite small in comparison to all other hostels we stayed at 😂

The location is amazing and you get a direct pathway to the beach. Room was big and comfy, with a balcony and a sea view. There is a big backyard where you can dry clothes and towels. The breakfast was tasty. The owner was very nice.

I suggest the host to improve upon the following things: 1. Provide cotton towels instead of synthetic fabric mixed towels. 2. One or two rooms may be provided with AC, of course with some additional charges. 3. Separate single cot for children can be provided.

I stayed here for two nights with my family. I liked the warmth of the host family. The uncle and aunt were very kind. At our request, they prepared a vegetarian dinner for us at a reasonable price. I would recommend this homestay. It is located right next to the beach and coconut hill. P.S. I am very touched by the hand-woven cap that the auntie prepared and gave to my daughter on departure. Thank you very much.

It was easy to find. In a great location just 2 minutes from the beach. The room was excellent with a large balcony and great sized bathroom. The owners were so kind. Excellent big breakfast. Would highly recommend.
