Owner of the hotel is really nice man and helpful. He woke up and took us to the bus station 4 in the morning. Thank you for helping us . His guy took us to the sunset rock at afternoon. Open menu dinner is really delicious. Thxxx for everything

We had a great stay! The breakfast and diner buffets are delicious and not expensive. Everything is very clean and we liked the pool. The best part was the excellent service as they were very friendly, showed us a great place for the sunset. They had a very friendly personal taxi driver who brought us to his home cutting coconuts, always knew the best places for pictures, for diner places and brought us to the Lion Rock. We would definitely recommend this place :)

Beautiful resort with an awesome crew. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style and are very delicious! Staff is almost too attentive, but that's not bad at all. We'd definitely stay there again!

Nice swimming pool. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. They prepare lunch and dinner and also organize safari to Minneriya park for about 80 euros. They also have a laundry service.

Not sure if this was just bad luck / coincidence but a couple of small things happened. Asked for a safari on a specific day from the manager. That evening we had a couple come and say they had been told we were going tomorrow by the owner and they had also booked and we were all going together. This was not the date we had asked for. We changed our plans and could do it which was ok- just a little frustrating as we’d asked for a different day. On check out I paid (cash) and was initially told by the manager I hadn’t paid enough. I asked him to recount which he did in front of me and it was fine- but felt he should have double checked first before suggesting I had underpaid.

Nice staff. Dinners were really good with lots of choice and a large fridge with drinks you could buy including wine and beer. Pool area was lovely and exactly what we needed after warm days out. A/c and a fan both in the room and worked well. Showers had plenty of hot water. Really enjoyed the sunset walk which is also a lovely opportunity to meet those you are staying with. For the price you pay for the stay, it’s a really good option.

Very comfortable and clean hotel with a very nice pool. The communal area was great as were the meals and the self service bar/fridge which worked on an honesty system. The owner Chandana and his right hand men Maiya and Anuja could not do enough for you. They made us feel a part of the family the whole time. Another bonus was the daily sunset tour and arranged transport to other attractions.

Beautiful hotel run. It has a pool which is well shaded mid afternoon onwards, making swimming more enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner were buffets, with a mix of non spicy Sri Lankan food and some bread, eggs, Jam etc. 1850 rupees for dinner, 800 rupees for breakfast, and it was well worth it. We had a family room which had air conditioning in each bedroom and a power shower. The owner and his team were very helpful. It was walking distance to the dambulla cave temples (1.4km away). A little bit further from the town but we found it acceptable. Each night they take guests for a short walk to a nice spot to watch the sunset. Definitely worthwhile. We would stay again.

This was the best place in Srí Lanka I have stayed in during our holiday. The staff was very friendly, nice and helpful (arranged transport to bus station for us etc), great food, location, price - everything... Highly recommend! 💛👌

Stayed at Sevonrich for 2 nights and loved it so much we extended to 5 nights. The rooms are great, the swimming pool is lovely and clean, the food is delicious and reasonably priced (we had buffet breakfast and dinner every day), but the highlight was the customer service. All the staff members were kind and helpful, they looked after us very well. The owner (Chandana) arranged a local sunset hike and a safari for us (sunset hike was free!), each guide was really informative and let us take our time. The manager (Maya) was very attentive when we were eating and generally during the day, always checking if we needed anything. He sorted our laundry for us for a good price, it was so easy. It was very clear that the owner and the manager wanted us to be happy and enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend staying here, it was amazing! Thank you to all staff at Sevonrich - Harry and Abi

We booked a room with half-board. The breakfast and dinner were simply superb. The staff has multiple options for us - and quite tasty. Pool is small and cosy and kept extremely clean. Overall a very nice place to stay.
