No fridge in the room. Water in the shower is warm in the afternoon, cold in the morning, not hot at all.

The guesthouse has a good location, helpful personnel. There is kettle in the room, wifi was good.

Breakfast is slightly overpriced

The photos don’t do this place justice. It’s so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room was very spacious with a walk-in shower. We loved Pirate, the owner’s dog, who kept us company morning and night. The rooftop area is perfect for watching sunset over the fort and watching locals play games of cricket. The location is in walking distance from everything in the fort. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A service charge was added on so just to be aware but we had no problem paying as the staff were lovely!

Location was fantastic with lovely views over the ramparts. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the communal terrace overlooking the old walls. Our room was spacious with air con and toiletries.

Beautiful clean rooms in lovely old building in the fort area. Great breakfast. Owner arranged a fantastic Tuk Tuk tour of area for us , pricing was very clear and fair.

A great family run little place. We loved the roof and the proximity to the open grass park and the Seaview. The staff were delightful and willing to help with anything. We were really glad we decided to stay here and would book it again. Good value for money

The fridge turned out to be downstairs in the kitchen. No use to us when you wake up looking for cold water!

We enjoyed our stay at Seagreen Guesthouse and were made to feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and clean with great modern bathrooms. We loved to sit out on the terrace on an evening and chill.

A very friendly guesthouse with a perfect location in the heart of Fort and a 10-min walk from the railway station. The family who runs the place is super friendly and helpful. They offer an excellent breakfast (they offer a variety of options, i enjoyed a delicious SriLankan breakfast with some of the best rotis i've tasted), and the diner curry is also very good.

Check-in was simple, fast and welcoming and our bags were taken to our room. Our room was next to a communal sitting area and we asked whether we could be moved for the remaining 2 nights. No problem and this one had a new bathroom. The owner manages this small guesthouse very professionally and is able to answer questions and provide advice. On our last morning, he voluntarily dropped us at the bus station on his way to a meeting. The hotel is clean, centrally located and you can see the ocean and people playing cricket from the first floor balcony. There is a roof terrace where we enjoyed a simple dinner one evening watching sunset. All staff are supportive, from the night man who opened up at 05:00am for a Whale Watching trip to the receptionist and young man who delivers luggage & food and the manager who made calls to ensure our missing suitcase was delivered from the airport. Finally, the bill had several meals, drinks etc for 3 days and it was correct.

More than comfortable and spacy room + spacy bathroom with running hot water (at Sri Lanka even cold tap water is luke-warm, so hot is very rarely provided by accommodation facilities). Cozy and comfortable open-air "social club" space with sea and sunset view in front of the rooms. Terrace available on top of the building but it was too hot to make use of it. Choice from Sri-Lankan- or European-style breakfasts, the Sri Lankan ones were fantastic. Extremely nice, friendly, and helpful owner and all staff. Can only recommend!

The beds were a bit short, but fair as we cannot expect to take into account Dutch heights!

Great rooms, airco, it was very clean and there was an amazing hot shower. Also there was shower gel and shampoo, something we didn’t encounter at most of our other stays. The location was very convenient as well.
