There's nothing we didn't like in our one night stay. The spacious room can be equipped with more furniture like chairs and sofas, but the chairs provided on the balcony were sufficient for our stay.

Our Host was great and friendly, they also arrange the room for us and let us check in before our agreed time. They were very helpful, they even recommended great restaurants for delivery and dining in. They also offered us support in booking for a safari, but we were already booked a different offer that was slightly cheaper of the one they offered. The room is very spacious, and was very clean. The balcony is private and spacious too. It is furnished with two chill seats and is overlooked a gentle flowing river and surrounded by greenery.

Everything was perfect

The property was very clean and spacious. Mithila was lovely and her English was perfect! She was so happy and friendly and nothing was too much. We’d booked safari through her and she made us packed breakfast to go, then when returning gave us fresh watermelon before check out. Would definitely return

It was by far the best accommodation on our entire trip to Sri Lanka. The room, bathroom and balcony were huge and super clean. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. It is very nice and quiet. The safari was super organized with breakfast and drinks. But the best thing about the accommodation is definitely Mithila we have rarely met such a kind and gorgeous person. She really organizes everything and has an open ear for all our wishes. Takes care of the food order, safari, enough water and even the laundry. We had a lot of problems with our arrival due to New Year and she supported us the whole time. Many thanks again to you! Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

Just note that it is a little far from the actual town. This wasn't a problem for us as we only stayed one night and were able to get dinner delivered (thanks to Mithila's recommendation) and Mithila made an amazing breakfast in the morning. 10/10

The room was huge and very clean, nice grounds and right by the river. Modern, clean bathroom, good air con and a ceiling fan. The host Mithila was amazing! We booked a safari tour with her before we arrived, which we highly recommend. It was a good price and we got a private tour with a great driver, Gayashan, who made sure we always got in a good spot for viewing the animals. Mithila told us about a restaurant in town that delivers which was perfect for dinner after our safari, and also recommended another place if we wanted to go into town. She cooked us a huge, delicious breakfast in the morning, checking first if there was anything we didn't eat and adjusting for us. I highly recommend staying here, booking a safari with Mithila and enjoying her yummy food!!!

Incredible stay, couldn’t have asked for any better. Slightly out of town but an easy tuk tuk ride in, or, if you’d rather stay in like us, the host gave us details of a nearby lovely restaurant that delivered food to us! She also cooks curry and rice and a lovely breakfast! The kindest most hospitable lady and honestly the CLEANEST place I have stayed in Sri Lanka by a long way. The safari was also amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore. 10/10.

The room was very spacious and offered a lot of light. The shower had a good temperature and water pressure. The value for money, combined with the hospitality from the owner Mithila made it a great stay for us. The room was definitely better than we expected. Mithila also helps to arrange a safari, she only works with people she knows and deliver a good experience. I can highly recommend staying at this property.

Mithila was great! She was amazing to talk too, arranged a birthday cake, baloons and a sign for my friend. She was super nice and helpful with everything. The room was big, the patio was also big and had a view of the river that runs right below the property. Highly recommended! Best VFM.

Such a well kept place! Rooms really big, with two beds, and plenty of space for luggage. It was spotless when we arrived, too! The AC and fridge are both very effective, and the bathroom is lovely, with a good hot water shower and a hair dryer. Mithila was one of the best hosts we had in Sri Lanka, so warm and friendly. She settled us in with a big pot of tea and some delicious banana bread, then proceeded to arrange dinner and beers for us - which came right on time, served outside. She even lit some citronella to keep the bugs away. Dinner was really tasty, and home cooked by Mithila and her mother in law. Delicious! Finally, when our safari tour dropped us back later than planned, it was no problem at all to check out a little later. Thank you Mithila!

There was nothing to dislike it was all perfect.

The accommodation is first class .Situated in a quiet area but only a short ride to town and restaurants.Fridge and hairdryer in the room. WiFi connection is very good .Mithlia is a perfect host and goes above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble.Always a cup of tea available for you .Organised our safari trip to Yala ,Bundala nature reserve and our taxi to our next destination. She arranged tuk tuk when we wanted them and recommended a restaurant which was fantastic "The Smokey kitchen" You must go and have the special dish which is cooked in an open kitchen. Tuk tuk ride into town 400 rupees. If you book this accommodation you will not be disappointed .This was by far the best accommodation we have stayed in so far during our stay.

Great place! My friend and I stayed in this two room home - he was in the bottom room and I was in the top room so we had the whole place to ourselves! The rooms are huge, both with large outdoor space. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are modern, and the property is beautiful. The host, Mithila, is super friendly and helpful. She booked us a well-priced safari at Yala and we were lucky enough to see a leopard! She also said she could order us food to eat at the place, but we decided to go out instead.

We loved everything ! Mithila is the best host we ever get ! Rooms are clean with all the needed equipment and AC. But the most important is that she organized us the best safari ! We had a very experienced guide and drivers who allowed us to see the rarest animals. Mithila is available, reactive, effective and super friendly. We recommand at 10000%

The room is so spacious and clean, the balcony is the best to chill in the nature. Especially the owner, she is so so kind and lovely! She ordered dinner for me, wash my clothes and help me to get rid of a cockroach from the room. Also arranged good driver for safari. I want to stay here when I come to Tissamaharama again!

The host, Mithila, is exceptionally accommodating and helpful. She helped us book transport and a safari, and even got my backpack zipper repaired. Excellent breakfast. Property is very spacious with a patio plus a big balcony overlooking a river and big trees. The setting is rustic but the accommodation and facilities are very modern and well-designed. Although not in the centre of Tissa, the town is but a SLR 400-800 Tuk Tuk ride away.

Big room with well working AC, big bathroom, mosquito net and balcony. All very clean and cared for. The host is just lovely and helps with everything. All in all, I felt very welcome and very comfortable. Would definitely book again.
