Beautiful location Lovely experience of nature and Sri Lankan outback Delicious food that Bala makes

One of the best accommodations i've stayed in: it looks exactly like the pictures, beautiful scenery and the huts are very cute. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable (with AC). The chef is the kindest in the world and his currys are amazing (family recipe), you have to eat there when staying there because these are the best (and very cheap as well). He even made us special tea to try. They organised a safari for us with a great tourguide that managed to find the leopards and several elephants. When we woke up (at 4 am 😅) breakfast to go was prepared with some bananas fresh from the tree. I would recommend everybody coming to Sri Lanka to stay here!!

Bathroom was a little outdated

Nice clean pool with beautiful sight. The home made curry was the best we had in Sri Lanka so please order it (homemade spices and great view)

The lighting in the room was not ideal.

Really lovely place! Bala, who runs it, is extremely kind and cooks a wonderful eggplant curry. He was very helpful in facilitating all aspects of our stay and made our time there top-notch. The location is a little off the beaten track, with a lovely pool that provides a great view over the rice fields and is great for a bit of bird watching. It's a shame we only had two nights, but we would highly recommend it. Also, it is a good location if you're planning safari trips as it falls in the pick-up zone for the safari companies.

Local water quality is poor so bottle water was necessary for tea.

Great vibes. Very family feel, very personal and thoughtful service. Lovely and relaxing pool which is needed after a morning safari and delicious home made dinner and breakfast- if you request in advance.

The Bathroom was a little small, but enough to take a shower and use the toilette

The pool within the palmtrees was a great place to relaxe and watch different birds. The owner was really helpfull with organizing the Safari and cooked a good Curry himself in the evening

Having toilet and shower outdoors makes musquito bites likely when showering after 6PM and other wildlife encounters (frogs, geckos..) while going to the toilet during the day.

This was for us a place between Arugam Bay and Mirissa. We were happy that we’ve stopped here. Comfortable beds, airco and a nice view. Last but not least the great food. The rice and curry and the Sri Lanka breakfast were amazing!

Rice Rice villas is in the middle of nowhere, but that’s part of the charm. The view on the rice fields is amazingly beautiful and the swimming pool is so relaxing. The rooms were very clean with good airconditioning (which was needed!) The staff is super helpful. 100% recommended!

The only thing I think they can improve in, is the shower. It smells a bit and looks not that fancy anymore.

We were originally staying at another accommodation, but decided to book a stay at Rice Rice Villa’s and we are so glad we did this! We loved the fact that there’s a swimming pool. After a (half) day of safari, this is really everything you want!! Rice Rice own’s a very beautiful space of what they really take care of! The huts, the spaciousness, the little pathways, the jungle vibe, the swimming pool, the rice fields, everything: you will love it! Then they also have a really friendly staff, in special Balan. He took really care of us and did everything to make us happy :)

The location is very cool and Bala has made a little oasis outside the city. Nice villas, wonderful clean pool, good breakfast and we had a very nice dinner at a reasonable cost.

Roce Rice Villas is a really beautiful place! The workers are so nice and helpful! The breakfast was Made with so much love. They also organized a Safari Tour for us. It was a great Stay. We d defeniatly recommend staying there. All the best to you :)

When we stayed in Rice Rice, rice fields was flooded, and the view become even more beautiful. Special thanks to the Host - Bala. He is amazing.
