The chalets are right next to the beach. They are comfortable & great a/c. The staff friendly & the food really nice.

Very beautiful bungalow, the room is big, clean and new. There is a big garden very well cared for. Breakfast and dinner are tasty, and they have been served on the tables in the garden which was very nice and cozy. There is a beach immediately on the left, near a cemetery, empty, and very beautiful. They have their own sunbeds for the guests. It was really beautiful to see the sunset and sunrise from there. For the next visitors: if you come to these beautiful parts, unfortunately the dogs situation in Trincomalee is quite sad. Please, bring some food with you. Next to the hotel there are two sweet dogs that would love some cuddles and food.

We loved everything. The actual place where we stayed, the bed, the shower, the size of the room, the fantastic food served, the location, and mostly all the people who worked so hard to make our stay completely enjoyable

The local beach nearby is not the cleanest, though did not see many clean beaches in SL. I cannot fault the bungalow, because it is clear that they clean and attend to the area they have sun beds (also great sunrise here).

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this place. Although the pictures are very accurate, I felt that everything was better in person. Each unit is pretty private and has a nice ground level terrace, perfect for relaxing. The room was really clean and the overall environment tranquil. We also felt safe here, as there is someone always on guard and also cleaning the property. In addition, I enjoyed the beach setup with beds and cushions with covers! The welcome smoothie still goes down as one of the best that I had during my holiday. The hotel can help organize transport for various needs.

Just to mention that the bungalow is between two cemeteries on the beach. Other than the three private sunbeds you can‘t find other people, restaurants or other attractions close by. No restaurants in walking distance, but there are a couple of nice restaurants five minutes by scooter.

Regina keep their own section of beach very clean but sadly either side is full of mostly plastic rubbish washed up. And the cemetery next to Regina is run down. But if you can ignore those sights you can have a very special time at Regina

Beautiful garden with incredible birdlife, near wonderful beach with great swimming. Delicious food served on verandah cooked by the wonderful Ivan. Puvan and all the staff looked after us so well.

Even though it wasn’t a big deal for us, it deserves notice that we had one power outage (9am to 5pm). Power was back though as the manager expected it to be and we took off to Uppuveli during that time.

I had a beautiful stay of 4 nights at the place and fell in love with the nature of the compound, the proximity to the beach and the atmosphere. We took advantage of the superb cuisine at Regina - mornings for breakfast and 2/4 evenings, for a curry and a fish dinner. Alternatively, we took a ride to Trinco or other places for activities and sightseeing and ate/drank in surrounding towns. If we ever came back to Sri Lanka again, we’d love to stay at Regina once more. It was a great experience.

Very nice location. Manager and staff are very helpful an friendly. It's possible to order dinner and it will directly served on the own terace. The very large beach is near by (mostly completely empty, beginning of March)and sometimes it's possible to observe local fishermen at work.

The rooms were very clean and spacious with a private dining area, the staff were always attentive with good service. The hotel is not far from the beach and short walk will get you there. The beach itself was relatively clean but the sea was rough owing to the season, even though noted a few people braving the waves for a swim. Travelers wanting peace and tranquility, this is the ideal place for you.

Lovely clean spacious room very close to a beautiful, quiet beach. Staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating. Little cabanas on the beach wereperfect for relaxing in the shade with a beautiful view. We only ate breakfast here but the food was great and delivered to our room. The only downside is that the beach has a lot of litter further up. They clean around the hotel, so the view is unspoilt, but a shame the other hotels don’t do the same and take more care of the beach and our planet.

Very spacious room with fan and air con. Lovely private veranda with a table and chairs where we had a tasty breakfast. Beautiful shrubs in the garden with lots of birds. Very short walk along track to the beach with some sun loungers. Safe for swimming. Staff kept their section of the beach clean.

I'm being picky, but I felt the prices of the menu were on the high side. But accommodation was high end, so perhaps this was reflected in the food prices.

What a little paradise. Everything about the bungalows was right. Lots of thought went into it. I loved my little terrace in front. The staff was so helpful and kind. Great place to stay, just a 2min walk from a quiet beach. Fantastic WiFi as well.

Just to say something: could be useful to add shower gel and shampoo toiletries in the bathroom ;-)

We loved everything and this was our best experience in Sri Lanka! - the personnel: Puvan the manager -super professional-, the staff who is constantly cleaning and attending all the customers' needs, the owners (German/Brazilian lady who was super sweet and friendly!) and the lovely dog Samba - food and services: delicious breakfast, great sandwiches for lunch and excellent dinner in the terrasse of your room, this is luxury and makes you feel a sense of special treatment - private sunloungers on the beach - very quiet location with the sound of the sea at night - rooms are very clean, large size, beds extremely comfy, A/C and fan working well and silently - worth noticing the security cameras and guard on duty every night to make it a very safe place

Many stones when trying to get into the sea (stones come rolling due to current and steep waves) plus in parts lots of waste dumped on the beach.

Staff was very attentive and eager to fulfill every wish we could possibly think of. Food was delicious, Bungalows and garden areal as well as the beach were amazing. Furthermore we fell in love with the small dog "Samba" who came and greated us whenever we stepped a foot our of our front door or came home from a daytrip :) One of the best coffees we had on Sri Lanka!

Puvan and team are really kind and caring staff. Puvan arranged many things for us including excursions to Pigeon Island. The location is amazing, really quiet on a pristine beach with no one around. It is kind of remote from the places with more activity and restaurants but those are accessible very easily by tuktuk. Food is also great

There isn't anything we could suggest improvement on.

What fabulous accommodation! We were very lucky to be the only ones there on our first night. The staff were so generous and helpful, the beach (which we had to ourselves) is literally outside the front gate. The bungalows were much more spacious than we anticipated with very comfortable beds and a great air conditioner! The bathroom was a 10/10 as well. We would highly recommend staying here. If you stay - order the grilled fish for lunch, wow!
