Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanyNice bungalows in a beautiful garden with outdoor bathroom. The room is spacious, breakfast is really good and its a calm and green place. The owner is very supportive with anything we asked for and made us feel comfortable and welcome. As there is not so much around it is helpful to rent a scooter to explore Koggala beach or other spots around!

SwedenSome roads are dirt/gravel roads and in the evenings it is good to have a flashlight with you when you go out. Street lighting is sparse in some parts of the area.
The hotel has an incredibly beautiful garden with a large pool as the centerpiece. Fantastically helpful staff. It was easy to get there, well signposted along the way and Googlemaps works fine in the area. Very good air conditioning, and fast internet. The room is large and spacious, the bathroom works fine, is partly outdoors with a half roof. Good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was generous and incredibly tasty, fruit plate, juice, noodles with potato curry, omelette, toast and tea or coffee.

Perfect place a few minutes from the city with beautiful garden and swimming pool. The bungalow is just perfect with a confortable terrace, nice view on the garden, big bathroom. Confortable bed. The staff is so nice and welcoming, preparing sri Lankan specialities for breakfast. Exceptional!

GermanyIt's very quite, the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. The bathroom outside was one of the highlights. The hosts are very welcoming and supportive, they gave us many tipps about beaches to visit, good restaurants and a lot of information about the country. The breakfast was great, but you need to be very hungry since the amount of food is huge. We felt so welcome there that we could have stayed for another week! We can recommend this resort to everyone! One advice, bring repellent for the mosquitos

The atmosphere of Odailem Resort is amazing. It is a beautiful place to stay in a small jungle. The apartments are very clean and the shower is great. The hosts are very, very friendly. The breakfast was very tasty. A mix of Sri Lanka and European food. It’s great place to relax. Really like paradise. We always would love to come back!
