We booked the room with the garden view, it was really beautiful. The staff were really friendly and polite upon arrival, we received a fresh coconut and they helped carry our luggage to the room. Initially, we wanted to book a Yala safari, but the owner recommended not to, because there had been no animals the last couple of days due to off season and he wanted us not to waste our money. We really appreciated his help and honesty, it was important to him to help instead of making the most money out of tourists. Great stay, such good value for money! Definitely recommend!

The staff were so lovely and accommodating and would help with anything you needed, coconuts on arrival was lovely. The rooms were spacious and came with extras. And everything was clean. The breakfast was amazing especially the Sri Lankan breakfast!

The property is good. I didn’t like Tangalle Beach and Village. Hikadwua and Unawatuna are much better and clean (streets and beaches)

The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, air con and fan great, WiFi strong, located close to the beach and plenty nice restaurants close enough. The manager generously took me to see the turtles laying eggs on a beach close by in the back of his bike one night. I only had the breakfast one day and it was so good, but too big for me. I was full for the rest of the day!

The property itself is very well looked after, the rooms are clean and modern and very comfortable. The staff are amazing, always making an effort to ensure everything is perfect. A few times while outside they bought a fan and incense sticks to make the experience even better. The place is walking distance to the beach and town, I would thoroughly recommend staying here if looking to come to Tangalle!

Everything was absolutely perfect.

The localisation is great ; just next to the beach. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Amazing breakfast ; the manager and his sister shared with us their New Year’s cakes and they were so scrumptious. We had lovely chats and we got to know much more about the Sri Lankan culture.

Located 2min walk from the beach, and 10min walk from the city center, this place is great. The room is very confortable and clean, fridge, hot shower, great AC (sometimes I even felt cold haha). The staff is super kind, they helped us with everything we needed. You can feel how much they care about the guests. But wait for the best: the sri lankan breakfast! It was a feast! The best way to start a day.

Quiet place close to Tangalle beach and to bus station. Room is spacious and fully functional (big, comfy bed, aircon, hot water…), friendly staff, small garden to relax and get breakfast… far enough to feel comfortable. Some good restaurants within short walking distance.

The friendliness of the owner, how cozy and big the room is, how clean everything was and how close it is to the beach (there is a path that passes by the hotel in front that takes you directly to the beach). It has been great!

I think at times we had some communication issues. It wasn't a big problem as all the necessary things were clear but it might have made some situations slightly awkward ;)

Good room for the price. Big, with lots of shelves, chairs, mini fridge (big plus!), hair dryer; enough space in the bathroom to put your toiletries; very comfortable bed The owner takes good care of you, he even dropped me off at the nicest beach as well as gave me a ride to the bus station Mosquito net, coal and anti mosquito spray kept me bite free :) nice chilling area with fans and sun covers 2-3min walk to the nearest beach but if you're looking for something bigger/cleaner, you'd need to drive for around 10min - ask the owner, he knows the best spot !

My only small point is that the power in the room operates on a room key basis, so won't stay on while you're out - I assume to stop folks from leaving the air-conditioning on constantly when it's not needed. Fair enough - but it made it tricky to charge devices (e.g. Macbook) that required a long time charging.

What a great property! So close to the beach, and with amazing bars/restaurants only a few minutes walk away. Sad I was only staying for two nights I could have happily stayed much longer... The Sri Lankan breakfast was outstanding, and massive! Great value.

Outstanding accommodation, host and breakfast. Liked · Absolutely everything!! The welcome with a ice cold King Coconut. The room with air con, wall fan, mini fridge, mosquito net, mosquito plug in, powerful shower in spacious bathroom, hair dryer. Comfortable bed, tea and kettle. The bathroom also had a powerful extractor fan which meant that it dried out everything really well. The breakfast was outstanding. We had the Sri Lankan option but believe a western option was available. The breakfast was massive and freshly cooked. The coffee was strong and tasty. Two egg hoppers each. The fresh fruit- passion fruit, avocado, orange, watermelon, banana, guarva. String hoppers, 3 curries, roti, crepes with jaggery, fresh juice- all amazing. The location was 5 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from banks, supermarket, bus station, and on the coastal road with many tourist restaurants. We would recommend this 100% and is great value for money.

The location is perfect; just a short 1 minute walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The room was very comfortable, great air conditioning, and a powerful shower! The breakfast was absolutely incredible and our favourite we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! Definitely recommended!
