We enjoyed our stay a lot!! All the staff is so friendly and the breakfast was the best we have had in Sri Lanka! We booked two rooms and they were connected which was an unexpected but much appreciated surprise. Can highly recommend this place!!

Squeaky bed

Lovely small hotel with great hosts and staff. Stylish rooms, with best view towards the pool and beach. We even got to see some baby turtles being released to the ocean. The breakfast is really nice with all sorts of fruits, fresh pancakes and eggs however you like them. Located in quiet Batheegama, only a quick 10 min tuktuk ride to Hiriketiya.

This small 3 bedroom guesthouse is set on a quiet beach not far from busy Hiriketiya and Dickwella. Jeremy has organized us scooters and gave us lots of tips for the area. Although we loved to spend our days mostly on the beach right in front of the house. July and Jeremy are lovely hosts, super relaxed and so is the whole staff. Also Julie has a beautiful shop called Gambette upstairs where she carefully designs her own fashion label with a French twist.

It's a little paradise and we will come again for sure! The breakfast, the little boutique, the beach, the rooms. Everything was just perfect and made with love from the owners.

We had the most amazing 4 night stay. The whole stay far exceeded expectations, from a utterly stunning property (the place in person is better than the photos!). The hospitality second to none, the breakfast - 11/10 and not to mention you basically have your own private beach. We will certainly return on our next adventure to Sri Lanka.

The location is perfect if you are looking to escape all the crowd in Hiriketiya Beach. The Beach near to the resort is quaint and so refreshing. Jeremy and Julie were such lovely hosts. The breakfast spread was very exceptional, room was spacious and comfortable. We loved spending our last night here and would have loved to extend our stay here. It was absolutely worth the money.

A moment of paradise on our travels through Sri Lanka. We loved the location on the beach, waking up to the sound of the waves. The beach feels private it’s so quiet. The pool at the hotel is lovely for relaxing too. Only a 5 min drive from Hirikiteya, perfect for lunch or dinner and then come back to the tranquility of Parasol Dore. Rooms were well appointed and designed. Jeremy and Julie are fantastic hosts, feels a home away from home.

We loved staying at Parasol Dore. The owners welcomed us to the hotel with warmth and enthusiasm. The hotel is very well maintained, on a very nice beach great for body boarding and it even has a nice splash pool. Our son fell in love with their two dogs, Jonny and Lanka! Absolutely recommend this place

I would write a poem to this place if I could! This hotel, its owners Jeremy and Julia and the team made our holiday. We planned to spend there 4 nights and go further, but everything was so good, and we decided to spend here the rest of our holiday. Everything was spotless: room, team, breakfast, swimming pool, beach, ocean — just everything. Two things that you should know. First: there are many nice restaurants around, though there is nothing on google maps. Second: you definitely have to see the shop on the second floor, because Julia creates amazing clothes. Classy, clean, quiet and dreamy place right by the ocean. Rooms are very cozy and equipped with everything you might need. Breakfast is fantastic. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Julie and Jeremy are absolutely wonderful hosts. I highly recommend it.

Location is nicely located in a quieter area outside of Dickwella which makes it a little tricky to get lunch or dinner without relying on TukTuks. But the location has 2 TukTuk drivers on speed-dial, thus not a big deal.

Lovely private place with fantastic pool and direct access to a very nice and quiet beach. Ideal for relaxation. Great breakfast and super nice staff. Massage was great as well.

I’d say it’s not about the property itself, but the general situation: we were here at a low season, so some small eateries for a casual lunch nearby were closed, so had to go to the main village (there’s no problem, but just sometimes you want to go out in the evening only) be ready for some flies and insects outside (very normal to Sri Lanka). The hotel has all the mosquitoes protection etc. the matress in the room could be refreshed (this is a nice to have thing, we had a good sleep).

An amazing and stylish place located in a relatively small bay, so that you can enjoy the ocean as if it was your private beach. Great healthy yet hearty breakfasts with a perfect ocean view. Very friendly and helpful staff always happy to help with some small requests. There’s no issue of calling a trusted tuk tuk driver who can take you anywhere or getting an airport transfer. It’s also possible to get your laundry done that is important if you explored the island before coming to chill at the ocean. Jeremy is a great owner always happy to give you a recommendation and just have a great conversation. For dining out we’ve truly enjoyed lunch at La Playa and dinner and cocktails at Mond. Overall, it was an enjoyable and relaxing week by the ocean in a great ambiance. Thanks again to all the team!

The villa was so beautiful! The pool was next to the beach. The rooms were super clean. Jermy and house staff did everything to make this place like home. Moet wonderfull stay of our trip in Sri Lanka. Very recommended!!

Nothing- it was as perfect as you see in the images.

We are a family of 4 and rented an ocean view & interconnected garden room for 3 nights. It was immaculate just like the photos. The beautiful ladies on staff happily helped us cut up our fruits for afternoon tea and served delicious breakfast with a smile each day. Owner Jeremy was on hand for anything we needed. Organised pizza delivery and transport on request. It was quiet season and Dickwella is definitely a quiet beach, we found just a few eateries nearby but Hikka is only a 10min tuk tuk away for more options. If you’re after a relaxing break as we were mid-holiday this is the spot! Be aware- you will share the breakfast eating area and the small pool with other guests but we did not find this a problem as we each gave each other space and time alone in the pool, no one who stays here is in a hurry. :)

It was love from the first sight when I saw this place on booking.com:) And it was exactly same in reality: new, fancy, cozy and just on the ocean! Ocean view and sleeping with ocean sounds is just amazing. Breakfast was good (big fruit plate, pancakes/omelet, toasts). Hosts are very friendly, lent us snorkelling equipment and there are bodysurf for free as well. Turtles watching and feeding is available on the beach nearby. Good restaurant is just around the corner: seafood dishes were perfect! (&wine is available). p.s.Julie creates her own collection of line clothes you can buy (the best souvenir ever!)

This is a very beautiful house set right on the beach in a stunning quiet bay. The house is beautifully decorated with great taste. We had one of the best breakfasts of our holiday. The hosts and staff were delightful & very friendly. In the evening we had a fabulous dinner at Smoke & Bitters which was a short tuk tuk ride away.
