Overall it’s a great hotel with great staff. Maybe a little overpriced compared to other comparable hotels. But still great location. Again staff like Lalith and the crew are very good

The views from the hotel are spectacular. The flower garden is very pretty. Our room was spacious and clean. We had dinner at the plate which was very good. Service and hospitality from Lalith was excellent he was knowledgeable and friendly. Same for breakfast in the morning. Breakfast gets busy with people who have just hiked mini Adams peak. It’s right at the bottom of the trail and a good location for this. Overall it’s a great hotel with great staff. Maybe a little overpriced compared to other comparable hotels. But still great.

Old wing. There are two wings in this property. The rooms in old wings are outdated and hostels like. I was supposed to be in new wing got assigned to old wing for two days then upgraded. They did their best with what the staff had to work with

Probably it was just my room - as it was a top floor corner room - but there was a slight moldy smell, I guess, roof needs attention in this extremely rainy period.

Very good location, beautiful garden, large room with huge terrace and a jacuzzi! Great view to the valley and mountain peaks.

The hotel feels like has dump problem. The beds felt wet. The room did not smell nice. There was a wet mark on the ceiling in room and outside of the room. The bed was rock hard. It was ok jus for 1 night.

The hotel is beautiful, good location, staff helpful. The view is stunning. It was clean and all we needed for 1 night.

The hotel needs maintenance. Rooms are outdated.

Staff was fantastic. The manager and Lilith were very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to guarantee our comfort. We didn’t have hot shower, and immediately came to fix it. Thanks to the manager for arranging dinner for us.

There is hot water capacity during high occupation and peak ours. This could be a capacity issue of the hot water system. My suggestions: For a shorterm solution, temperature setting of the hot water should be increased at least by 10 degrees. Improvements: Basement hallway brick floor was uneven and potential to falling. It would be better to have a covered pathway between the kitchen and the restaurant to improve food safety. Highly recommended a flatsheet on the beds particularly people who don't like heavy use of air conditioning.

Location was very good. Front desk and serving staff very good. House keeping staff particularly Malkanthi was very quick to care our needs. Food was good with local and international flavors. We really enjoyed having conversation with all levels staff. We recommend this hotel.

In our opinion the price is too high for what you get. We booked the deluxe two person room with private swimming pool and due to the colder weather and the pool was not heated it was too cold to use. Breakfast was fine.

Family of 4 (kids 3/7), stayed here x2 nights in Apr ‘22. Excellent spacious family rooms with really comfy beds and a fantastic view of Ella’s rock. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. ideal location in Ella for activities and a short Tuk Tuk ride (600LKR) to the main town/restaurants.

The staff took me to a standard room, when I had paid for the most expensive room with a private plunge pool. I’m not sure how this could be mixed up… Also poor WI-FI when on your balcony.
