We really enjoyed our stay at Elegant Hotel. All the staff were extremely nice and professional. The most important thing is that everything was very clean.

The drive to get to the property required expert level skill, it was very steep.

As we arrived we were greeted by a very warm and friendly, well dressed waiter that brought us a cinnamon tea. This set the tone for the rest of our time there, the waiter was exceptionally helpful. We were even offered a free upgrade on our room. The pool and the pool view was stunning.

I can't say or remember what I disliked. Only thing I disliked is my schedule, shortage of days at my end.

Elegant hotel location is beyond expectation. Staff is very efficient and friendly, actually one gonna missed them.

This was an amazing tranquil hotel. We loved that it was out of Kandy as we were working online for the week. The food was excellent and the rooms were large. The staff were very helpful in organising tours and tuk tuks. The bed so super comfortable too. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Elegant hotel is definitely an exceptional value for the money. My room was spotless, the views both sides amazing, the staff brilliant. Highly recommended are also Spa treatments - the lady masseur is really fantastic. It is absolutely7 💯 recommended for either stop over or longer stay.

We loved our stay here, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Roshan in particular took excellent care of us and made us feel very special. Niroma at the reception desk was exceptional and went out of her way to arrange some thoughtful things for my partner's birthday. The hotel itself is very beautiful with gorgeous gardens and our room was excellent.

The location is pretty far out from the city centre. Over 30 mins from Kandy train station so just be aware of that. There were also quite a few power cuts during our stay, one where we ate our dinner in the dark.

Gorgeous hotel with a lovely pool area and outside seating. Rooms were clean and comfortable - couldn’t fault them. The breakfast was lovely - would set the table outside with fresh flowers decorated on it. The staff were so friendly and attentive, especially the waiters. Food was good - we ate breakfast lunch and dinner across our stay and were happy with all three.

This is an amazing place. Modernly furnished, with style. Spacious rooms. Beautiful view, garden with very clean pool. Very tasty food in the restaurant. The staff is so friendly.

The food and rooms at this hotel are wonderful. We relaxed by the pool, enjoyed dinner and drinks, and ate breakfast among the flowers each morning on the lovely grounds. The staff helped arrange massages and a day trip to the botanical gardens and downtown Kandy.

The access road is difficult - we came in our own car and got lost a few times before finding the place. There isn't a lot of parking at the hotel.

Room was very comfortable with good AC. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The views are stunning. Swimming pool is really nice. We initially only had 1 night booked but stayed for two nights in the end, and had a lovely, relaxing time.

Some items where out-dated. e.g. The (hanging-)chairs in the garden could need a check as getting rusty and partly broken.

extremely friedly staff. We got a room upgrade to the top floor.. with a magnificent view and very large room. Very good food for both diner and breakfast with very friendly staff. Good bed, good and clean bathroom, good swimmingpool, option to have breakfast in the garden, ... Pity we did not had the option to stay longer

It’s a beautiful property away from all the hustle and bustle. Comfortable and clean rooms with outdoor pool and good mountain views. The staff are very friendly and polite. The food was also good but a bit expensive.

Could benefit from more choice on the menu or to vary the menu occasionally. We did, however, enjoy all the food that was served.

A very, very nice stay. We originally booked for 3 nights but stayed 5 nights. Lovely views, friendly helpful staff, serene gardens and relaxing swimming pool. Half hour from Kandy but that suited us - in the afternoons we looked forward to getting back to the peace and quiet of the hotel after the noisy polluted chaos of Kandy.

Absolutely perfect. It was so luxurious. Spotless clean, comfortable bed, exceptional food. The service was outstanding. The nicest, kindest service. The team at elegant were so good. We really did thoroughly enjoy.

Beautiful surroundings, so tranquil and relaxing. One of my favourite places in Sri Lanka! Fantastic staff so service minded and friendly. Great breakfast! If I would critique anything it would be the a la carte menu, a bit boring.
