Beautiful garden and vegetable/fruit trees beyond the wall. Lovely seating area around pool under cover with large tables to play card games etc! Lovely large pool. Plenty of breakfast with fresh fruit, fruit juice and bread. Pancakes were delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful

The equipment by the pool could be enhanced, like having mattress on deckchairs. In the bathroom, it would have been nice to have something to put our toiletries.

The place is beautiful, in the middle of nature with many trees around and a lot of birds, this is very peace. The food is very good, you should try their kothu and rice curry, delicious! The staff was very helpful and attentive and we felt like home there! We originally booked a balcony room upstairs and they offered another room downstairs which was more convenient for us. I definitely recommand this place for few nights.

This is a perfect little hotel, with 14 rooms on the outskirts of town in a quiet location. It has a wonderful setting, with the pool as the main feature. We had a room beside the pool which is recommended (although there is no WiFi signal in the rooms.). The room was simply appointed but a good size as was the bathroom. The a/c and ceiling fan were very effective. We were welcomed with a glass of papaya juice, which is a nice touch. Dinner and breakfast are very good and excellent value. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The pool is a very good size, clean with some sunbeds available. Enjoyed our dip in there on a very hot afternoon. The staff kept the pool and grounds very clean and tidy. They have free driver accomodation which us a huge plus. We really enjoyed our stay and woukd happily return again.

Cleaning of the large fish tank (hoses running through the restaurant and unwelcome smells) when evening meals were being served could have been done earlier in the day but it was an exceptional oversight.

Black and white themed guest house/hotel. Nice well kept tropical garden setting with a nice swimming pool and infant pool. Polite and helpful staff and owner family. Well located for visits to Mihintale Temple. Food and drink available on site. Other bars and restaurants are a short tuk tuk ride.

We had a great stay here. Extremely friendly and helpful staff - they even helped us out with tuktuk problems. Breakfast was great - we are travelling on a budget but was great value for the money and good combination of western and Sri Lankan breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious and we enjoyed the pool a lot. All together, highly recommended!

There was a group there having a party whilst we were there and although they didn't really make much noise, we did feel like we were in the way. We ate a couple of times in our room instead of the restaurant as we didn't want to be in the middle of a corporate party. The one night we did eat in the restaurant the group started setting up projectors right by our table, even moving one of my family members out the way whilst she was trying to feed her son which was really uncomfortable and made us leave quickly after we'd finished eating. The staff tried to make us comfortable, but if they are having a big party like this I think it would be better just to keep a small area separate for other guests so they don't feel rushed or that they are in the way of a corporate/ group event. We did have a nice stay and it's a lovely hotel which is why I've rated it high as I think the party thing wasn't a normal situation.

It was a nice hotel, grounds are beautiful and staff were friendly, food was ok, but we had to send it back as it came out cold a couple of times.

heaven. after arriving you can forget about everything. silence, pool, birds, beer. nothing was missing. in the evening don't get scared by the cow grazing behind the concrete fence. you won't see anything but it is there. : )

We were placed in hurry in not ready room. we could easily wait in lobby, that was not problem. But hotel keepers decided to hurry and didn't take enough time for cleaning, so we end up with several asks to change bed line, and gave up with smaller things and stayed with other guests hairs under our feet's and so on. That's the only. Please, don't hurry and make things fully
