Some things in room needs small renovation(but it's not critical for now). I hope they will renovate soon, because its very nice place with very relaxing atmosphere.

Big room, comfortable bed, big open air bathroom with hot water(water heater), friendly owner - it was very nice to speak with her in the morning during breakfast, and breakfast was good. In the whole everything was nice. If we will be in Arugam we will try to stay here one more time.

The Wifi was not available in the rooms so had to go down to the communal area for access. Forced us to put our phones down though!

The room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of nice breeze with aircon available although we did not need it. Breakfast was provided and delicious in the mornings. The best part was the safe drinking water!! We could drink out of any tap which was a life saviour in the heat. We also loved the Jungle BBQ and Curry night.

This is the place to be and make sure you don't miss out on the bbq safari evening! One of the best experience I had in Sri Lanka. 6 months in different Hotels and homestays and this is one I would return to without any doubt ☺️

Beautiful location in a calm and safe area but still close to the Main road. clean and spacious rooms with some nice details and very friendly staff. sudo and Rafaela are very welcoming and always try to make everything as pleasant as possible.

Located in a quiet and green place in walking distance to the center, with family atmosphere. Raffaella & Sudu & Team take well care of each guest with tips, BBQs, Safaris and delicious food. I liked my spacious mud-house cabana and the own water kettle and fridge were handy.

It’s a bit out of town, but I rented a scooter anyway so no problem.

The toilet at the restaurant is quite basic (mostly in comparison to the rest) and I was pretty surprised that kids are allowed to walk on top of the kitchen counter.

Fresh water from the tap! And not some manager, but the owners with their personal story written in the welcoming writings in the room. Nice bathroom with playful details. Colorful staff. Probably our best Rice and Curry up til now. ‘Own’ surf teacher Lenny is great. Did a nice job on trying to teach our kid with a lot of patience.

Just be sure you know that in the cabanas which are open to the outside, you expect lots of animals such as ants, cockroaches and spiders. But you have a mosquito net over the bed, so for us this was okay.

The cabanas are a little bit outside the main road of arugam bay but everything is in walking distance and so it’s much more quite there. The breakfast was really good, some things have to be ordered in advance such as Sri Lankan breakfast. The staff were all really nice and the owners too. We had a lovely time there.

Lovely large cabanas in a village location with a garden. Raphaela and Sudu were great hosts. Highly recommend the jungle safari, the food was delicious. Also the muesli breakfast is a winner too. Easy walking distance to the beach.

Regrettably, the accommodation did not align with what was advertised during the booking process. It took a 10-minute walk to reach the sea, and the view was more of a distant glimpse across a field rather than a genuine sea view. Furthermore, the cleanliness left much to be desired. A damaged mosquito net and stained towels. It's disappointing because we had anticipated a better experience. In our apartment, there was no full kitchen available; we only had access to a sink, a small fridge, and some basic dishware for slicing fruit, for instance.

The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. You can pay with a credit card, and they offer free water, which isn't common in Sri Lanka

We should have booked a room with air con as it was very hot when we stayed and we only had a fan that was very very loud and kept us awake most of the night. However, when we asked we were given another fan to use that was much more effective and quieter. Also we had quite heavy rain one night and our room flooded, the outside balcony and the inside of our room had quite a lot of water, it was lucky that we didn't have our bags on the floor as the water came under our bed and would have soaked all of our things. So the following night we asked for a towel to put by our door just to try and soak up some of the water if it did rain.

The staff were really friendly and lovely, they also sorted us out with a driver to get to our next destination and an amazing surfing instructor! It was well located, close to the beach and the town was only a short walk away.
