The staff at Dickman were excellent. They were expecting us, professional and friendly. The hotel exceeded our expectations and while we were only stopping for one night before heading to the airport, we would have been happy to stay longer. We were surprised with a room upgrade and were grateful for the fruit and water provided for us. The beds are large and comfortable, the room was incredibly spacious and had a lot of personality- at Dickman you're a far way from a soulless, veneer cube. The pool is clean and the outdoor bar/lounging area is nicely laid out.

Beautiful room, super-comfy bed and large balcony. Pool & grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Staff very attentive and friendly. Adults only policy an absolute bonus!! Ask the Chef for his Dahl at breakfast.

After almost two brilliant weeks In Sri Lanka, our stay at the Dickman Resort was the last place we stayed and it was a superb end to our trip. Danushka, Damith, Indika, Dimal, Sankar and Mahindar did everything they possibly could to make our stay as brilliant as it could be. We absolutely loved the facilities in the suite and the resort as well as the kindness from the team - if you have the opportunity, book this place!

Such a cute friendly hotel, felt like a home away from home. The pool was larger than it looks in the photo's and I loved the colours in my room. The staff are exceptional and helpful in a calm non obtrusive manner. We had a great birthday celebration for my partner and the hotel got cake and birthday bunting around thee bar. It's the most friendly of hotels I have stayed in which included the guests who come back again and again to stay here.

The stay was beyond great. We arrived directly from the airport, tired after a long flight and encountered an oasis of calmness, friendliness and and sincerity. The room was great, the entire place a gem, but above all the entire team working at the property radiates personal warmth that was just unique.

The staff at Dickman’s were sooo lovely. Loved chatting to them, and they gave us super helpful travel tips and advice. They really went the extra mile to help us. The pool is beautiful, we hung out there for the afternoon and had a lovely sandwich from the bar and the hotel even gave everyone a fresh juice on the house. Hotel is really cool, has a pond inside with turtles and fish. Room was great, good size, super comfy 4 poster bed with a great mosquito net. Good aircon. We slept sooo well here. Colourful room with personality. Very clean. Breakfast was not included in our booking so can’t comment on breakfast.

Even though our stay was perfect, it was not the best value for money and a bit pricey. The bathroom could use a little brush up.

Spacious and clean room with a nice garden and pool (though water in the pool was quite warm). The staff was super friendly . They helped us organising a driver, gave us really good recommendations and even brought us free fresh fruits to the pool. The hotel is great for relaxing after or before a long flight. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and the food is good.
