Our favorite stay in Sri Lanka! Nilu is such a wonderful and attentive host. She received us with tea when we arrived. The views from the balcony were amazing, and early in the morning you can hear the birds, so beautiful! The room was very spacious and clean, the bathroom is brand new, great water pressure and hot water. The breakfast was delicious and very abundant, and she gave us several breakfast options. A short walk to town and train station via the railroad tracks, and they gave us a ride to the train station early in the morning because we had our backpacks. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay, we would definitely stay here again if we come back to Ella!

The view from the balcony is unreal, I think the best view you can get in Ella. Also, the rooms are clean and spacious. On top, the hosts are great, the owners are super kind and helped us with everything (with tuktuk rides & breakfast at 5am to bring along). I would recommend this place to everyone!

The room has a beautiful view of Ella Rock. The host family was so lovely and helpful and provided us with everything we needed. The place is in a good location, with a quick walk along the train tracks down to the Main Street of Ella. Also, we can highly recommend to try their homecooked SriLankan breakfast!

Room is basic, but not in a way that we weren't expecting based on the pictures, price, and location.

We loved the location - a ~10 minute walk from Ella along the railroad tracks, but with the feel of being in the jungle. The view of the waterfall and animals in the forest was fantastic - we saw monkeys and birds. The room is basic, but fit our needs. The wifi worked well too. Each morning, we looked forward to a big, delicious breakfast. The host was extremely nice and helpful! Enjoyable place to spend a few days.

Beautiful peaceful place to stay with an incredible view. Great location- quiet and relaxing away from the hussle of Ella town however only 10mins walk via railway track to the centre. Clean and comfortable room, good hot water and lovely outdoor seating area with views of Ella rock. Breakfast was fantastic- best we had in Sri Lanka. Hosts were so kind, friendly and helpful with suggestions and recommendations- if you get the chance to stay here I would 100% recommend it for your trip to Ella

Incredible! Such a beautiful homestay and Nilu is so lovely and kind. The room is huge and has an AMAZING view. The bed was so comfy with the softest bedding, I really had the best sleep here. Breakfast was super tasty and big. Nilu was very welcoming and accommodating. I managed to book it last minute because someone else cancelled, if I had known of this place before I’d stay longer, tried to extend it but it was fully booked!

The view with the waterfall is just stunning! It’s you and the nature and the sound of birds and monkeys. Of course the location is not in the city center but with the motorbike you are there in 3 minutes. Also the host is just very sweet, she woke up earlier to prepare us lunch box for our train ride. The room was big and spacious. Also the accommodation had one of the best WIFI we had in Sri Lanka I could even have teams calls. All in all just amazing!

Sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise over the mountains and Ella rock and listening to the bird life. Being away from the noise of town, but a 10 minute walk with a shortcut along the train tracks. Traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was the best I had in Sri Lanka. The location is absolutely stunning, breathtaking. Being on the balcony and witnessing that beauty, the mountains, the waterfall, nature. Just one of the best places I have ever visited in my whole life.

Clean, very big room with AMAZING view. The location was great - just 5-7 min on foot from all the restaurants and bars, and 10 min on foot from the railway station, but still away from the noise and smoke of the city. The only “noise” we were hearing was birds callings and the waterfall. Hot water was available and super delicious breakfast. Lilu and her family are great hosts, we used the laundry service and clothes came back in the evening smelling great. THANK YOU for the wonderful stay!

Would have been an added bonus to have kettle and cups in the room ... but this didn't spoil our stay at all.

Room was a good size and comfortable. View from the balcony was simply beautiful, and changed according to time of day and the weather. Breakfasts were good with decent sized portions. Bathroom was clean and modern. Outdoor seating area both to the side and in front of the room which we regularly used. Our hosts were friendly, communicative and always ready to help. They did laundry for us at a good price and arranged tuktuk transport for our onward journey. A truly lovely stay.

Perfekt place to stay. Magnificant view, very clean room, hot shower, very friendly family, delicious breakfast, only 10 walk minutes to the city (over traintracks), only 10 minutes to beautiful yoga class (Zion view). I can absolutly recommand Chamodya homestay an would stay here again next time I visit Ella (there is so much to do and see, that you can come several times to Ella)

The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, a great place to chill and admire the nature. Room very spacious and clean. The owner was nice and helpful and prepared us a wonderful breakfast, one of best we had during our holidays in Sri Lanka. Definetely a great place to recommend!
