We booked 3 nights and ended up staying 10 days. Beautiful surroundings, lovely garden perfect for relaxing in, and for our daughter to enjoy. Monkeys in the trees every morning. Amazing waking up to birds singing outside. The place is nice and simple. Rooms are very clean. Suranga, the owner was very kind and helpful. Plus, a great chef. We ate dinner a couple of times and loved it! And also, walking distance to a paradise beach and other local restaurants. Would definitely come back.

It had everything I care about for a stay: It's clean, comfortable beds, good facilities. Really big room to spread out. The bathroom is one of the best I've soon ol my whole trip in Sri Lanka! The host even has a restaurant I just didn't use because I was out all day long. It looked very nice, though:) Tip: To get to the beach just keep going down the road and walk through the resort at the end! You will be there in 5 min

Nice room with a big garden only 5min away from the beach. Loved the restaurant (delicious home-made food & breakfast!) and the big garden. Really nice decoration. Friendly and helpful host. Definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect, the room was clean and spacious and beautyful. The location was quiet but still close to the beach. One of the best value for money we had in Sri Lanka. We had a great time there :)

I have only wonderful things to say about staying here. First, Suranga is a welcoming and kind host who also cooks fantastic curry dishes; he puts so much heart into his home, and you feel the good vibes! Second, the room and balcony is clean, spacious, and very peaceful. Third, the beaches are within walking distance or a brief tuk tuk ride; the national parks are within a 1.5-2 hour drive, and Suranga can help you arrange a safari that picks up from his place. What I appreciate most about our stay is Suranga’s hospitality. I got very sick the day I arrived, and Suranga checked in regularly and directed me to a doctor to get the medications I needed. Suranga’s help (and home cooking!) and the homestay’s quiet space helped me fully recover.

A quiet, green, and cozy place with the most beautiful and picturesque Tangalle beach just a walk away. The accommodation was comfortable, with a nice restaurant, and a very welcoming and helpful host. The atmosphere there was very easy and relaxing.

Amazing small family run hotel. Extremely friendly service. Suranga one of the best host ever seen and great chief. Restaurant just perfect, great food for reasonable price. Booked for 3 night first but extended for 2 nights more. Highly recommend

We had such a great stay here. Suranga was the best host and so kind! The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. You can feel the thought and love that has been put into the place. The food is also delicious and the Sri Lankan breakfast was one of the best we’ve had! The beach is also super close and walkable.

Everything perfect 😍 extremely clean, comfortable big room, cute decoration, super chilled and friendly host, 10 min by foot to a beautiful and empty beach with free sunbeds, good breakfast. It’s amazing and we stayed one more night. Can recommend !

The best shower experience in Sri Lanka, since they have a proper wall/separator in the shower to keep the rest of the washroom dry. Also hot water and great pressure! Friendly host and nice facilities. Bang for buck 10/10

Hot water, delicious food, not far from a quiet beautiful beach 🖤 The owner is such a wonderful host, we loved spending time with him. He can also give you many good advices what to watch in the area. Most clean bathroom we ever had in Sri Lanka & we even extendend our stay, as it was this lovely here. Walking into the room with small, beautiful flowers on the bed & in the bathroom was amazingly sweet 🥰 AC is working perfectly & there is a shower in the yard for your sandy shoes (: In the family room you also have a fridge, which is very needed, when you stay a few days.

Amazing place! Probably the best we had in several weeks in Sri Lanka! Very spacious and nicely designed room with a nice terrace to hang out. Lots of privacy. Suranga is a friendly, supportive and highly attentive host. Great food as well. We would come back anytime!

very friendly staff. nice room with everything you need. big bathroom. the place itself is quite and nice! the host let us keep the luggage after we checked out. That was super nice of him, thank you 😃 it could be difficult to understand how the hot water system works at first glance. ask for assistance if needed :)

Best stay so far. Suranga the host met us with a big smile. Took is to our room was was spotless and large. The food was fresh and tasty, with plenty of choice ( good Western options if you fancy) Sat in our balcony watching the monkeys with an iced cold beer. The most beautiful beach 5 minute walk.

The only thing that was bothering a little was a certain smell in the room. It was quite aggressive, afterwards even the clothes smelled like it. We don’t know if it was the smell of the toilet cleaner or what else it could be… Maybe the host can do something about it.

The host was really nice, the room very clean and the breakfast was good! Also the Location was nice because we could use the hotel a few feet away to get to a wonderful long and quite empty beach!
