-The Hideaway check in side doesn't present the same welcoming appearance as the Main check in area. -ALL the bathrooms by the pools and the beach were always out of toliet paper or clogged up. Additional cleaning/check in should be added. -Room 2005, had a wet/mildew smell -Housekeeping never left small hand towels after providing services

The suite had a weird smell that was overpowering but outside of that the room was beautiful as pictured. The wasn’t really an adult side considering we stayed on the adults only section of the restaurant. The resort kinda died down after 11pm. The resort is definitely catered towards family. Good thing our main goal is was to relax and not party.

Staff was amazing and invested in making our trip memorable. The food was delicious and the pools were clean.

I stayed on both the Royalton side and the hideaway side however my room on the Hideaway side was a little dirty and dated. The sofa in my room was covered in stains, my shower room was also stained and my wall by the sink. I don’t think this is a fault of the resort or staff but most likely prior guests however it wasn’t a nice site to see. My room in the Royalton side was perfect with no issues so I just assume the building I was in for the Hideaway side was more dated than my Royalton building.

The property and resort is lovely. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the resort has everything you expect to find.

I would say my room did have a very strange smell when I first checked in however, it was fixed by the staff.

The property was well kept clean and tidy, and the staff make sure that this was the case.

We did not like that the restaurants were not available when we were told that they were taking walk-ins but only to refuse entry because we did not have a reservation made by a butler. We walked around to 3 restaurants with the same issue. We were given a buzzer and waited for about 20 minutes only to be told we could not be accommodated due to multiple large parties. Hideaway front desk were not always courteous or willing to help.

We liked how convenient it was for us to book a hotel short notice when we were not happy with our previous reservation. The beach was nice and not congested. The Hideaway pools were not crowded and easily accessible. Most of the staff were very nice and pleasant.

The security at the end of the stay treated us very unruly. At checkout time she was beyond rude and very disgusting as we were making our way to the lobby to exit.

Customer service and the butlers were amazing. Most staff presented their selves very well. The room decor and certain services exceeded my expectations! Thank you again for a wonderful birthday

If it wasn't for the fact that I was not allowed to fly my drone, I would have given this a excellent. It should be noted that you cannot do things like flying drones or pay to be able to do such things.

This was a great resort. I like the fact that they were able to upgrade my room and also find an additional room for me at the last minute.

The food was very hit or miss. And this is nothing against the property but the largely older British crowd was interesting. Don’t expect to be partying.

The majority of staff were amazing, but we did have a number of issues with one member of staff at the front desk. During our check-in process, he offered to make reservations for us each night at the same time for different restaurant on the property (restaurants are pretty impossible to have dinner at without a reservation if you are a family). On the night of our first reservation, the restaurant turned us away and said they had no record of our booking. No reservations had been made at any restaurant for us. We went back to the same staff member at the front desk the next day and asked him to make the reservations. He sent us a print-out of each booking. We were turned away again that night, again because no restaurant had any record of a reservation for us! We were finally accommodated the following night, but it was quite an inconvenience to get all dressed up for our ‘reservations’ and end up being turned away and stuck in the buffet for dinner repeatedly. I really recommend against using this staff member at the front desk for reservations, even if he offers! The only other issue we had at the property was also dealt with by him. We used the laundry service and they lost half of our items! When we brought the issue to him he said it was our word against theirs and that he would still be charging us for the items of laundry that we did get back!! After a lot of back and forth, he agreed not to charge us, but did not apologize or make any attempt to find our missing items, so we had to leave the resort without them. Other than that, our stay was perfect! The resort is beautiful and the staff were mostly great!!

Beautiful resort, everything new and spotless. The rooms were very large and comfortable. It’s a large resort and never felt full or busy, there is plenty of space to relax in a different area every day.

We decided like the comfort of the beds. We also were so upset that there was only one working 2 socket plug in our room. There was 2 only in the room (with about 4 other 3 socket plugs) and we asked for the second one to be looked at but it was not. The adults side is NOT worth the extra funds, doesn’t seem like a adult side at all

We really loved the staff and especially the ones at the bar. We loved the different pool locations too. We also really enjoyed the music and different activities that we could enjoy at night. We actually loved housekeeping services and the room service was fabulous. Food was okay and typical hotel food. Over all is was very romantic and so perfect for couples. We did the romantic dinner on the beach and it was a nice experience for us and the food the chef cooked was AMAZING.

Spa out of action due to flooding, gym only part open due to flooding. Not notified of this before arriving or on arrival only found out when I went to use them. The bars- if something had run out, it wasn’t replaced, I had to constantly ask to get what I wanted to drink. Majority of staff were friendly and wanted to help, but there are a lot of staff who probably shouldn’t be in hospitality, no eye contact, no smile, no interaction.

Great location, great choice of restaurants for the evenings, lovely beach, great pools, some great staff, own lobby with snacks and drinks available all day.

It is quite noisy at night until about midnight due to the entertainment which takes place until 11 and then everybody going back to their rooms. But for us this was only a minor inconvenience and didn’t affect our enjoyment, just might be a factor if you want a truly calm and serene holiday. There isn’t loads of storage for clothes so if there’s two of you here for a fortnight with two massive cases you may struggle for space but we made it work as we only had one large case between us. It is a predominantly English/Brit crowd with a few Canadians and Americans thrown in, which wasn’t a problem for us as fellow Brits, but you may tire of the footy on some of the bar televisions and the sports updates around the pool. Everybody we met though was lovely and no bad behaviour.

The quality of everything from the staff to the facilities is outstanding. Check-in was smooth and the staff were able to help us with additional requests like an itemised bill for expenses. Things that can’t always be taken for granted at an all inclusive hotel really are all inclusive here. As many towels as you want, as often as you want them. No need to fuss with bills at the bar. Mini bar in the room is completely complimentary and you can ask for things to be included, water, fizzy drinks and also beer. The beds are SO comfortable and the room was really thoughtfully decorated, enough “stuff” to feel comfortable but not too cluttered. Can’t compliment the staff enough, polite, attentive and helpful all round. We stayed late oct-early Nov: the weather was changeable but rain moved though quickly and the hot days were frequent and the sun powerful.

Making reservations for the restaurants were very difficult and nearly impossible. Extra cost for certain items at certain restaurants when the resort was suppose to be All-inclusive was a surprise. The pools closed at 6pm which is very early. The staff wasn’t all that friendly. Many staff members were unhappy and not pleasant. My room didn’t get water for 2 days and we had to keep calling and one day house keeping didn’t bring us any toilet tissue. Me and my guest didn’t feel the warm welcome that others from our party felt.

The property was beautiful. The pools and beach were immaculate. The rooms were big and spacious. The shower I loved it so much. The hibachi restaurant was so good. The DJs on the beach really brought the party together.

Toilet seat was missing , A/C on 15 degrees Celsius still warm in room. The staff wasn’t accommodating regarding my room requested 2 queens they tried putting me in a King. We had to leave our luggage sitting outside until after check-in. I told the manager I wasn’t comfortable with that. St. Lucia is beautiful loved it. The property was nice minus those issues and gnats in the buffet on fruit, sushi and pastries.

It’s very loud and busy, not quite a “hideaway”. There’s no real difference between royalton, hideaway and diamond club. I didn’t enjoy the excursion team hassling us on a day to day basis. I also didn’t enjoy the ground floor room which smelt of damp / mould. The food here is pretty average, I don’t recall a single meal that I really enjoyed.

The Hideaway section wasn’t as expected. The swim up room had a horrible odour of mould/ damp. When we upgraded to diamond club we were put on the ground floor, next to the entrance which was exceptionally loud; right next to a bar and where everyone would walk past. The food was very average, we resorted to going out for lunch and dinners to a neighbour resort where the food was nicer.
