Great place, great people, great coffee!

My stay at Mali House was perfect and I would happily stay again. Andy was brilliant, very welcoming and always around to answer any questions. The room was big, clean and had everything I needed and the location was spot on to explore LP. I would definitely recommend this spot.

I was lucky to stay 5 days at Mali House in Luang Prabang. The Guesthouse is by far one of the best good looking in that area. Andy the owner is such a nice person, who offers all his guests free coffee and tea. It was such a pleasure to stay at his guesthouse. Furthermore it is along the morning and almost evening market but the hotel is super quiet. In reach of 5minutes walk to the national museum and the Phousi Hill. I had a wonderful time staying in Luang Prabang and couldn't wish myself a better place. Thanks Andy for the great coffee, great hospitality and all your tips for in and around Luang Prabang. I will definitely recommend your guesthouse to anyone who's willing to visit Luang Prabang in the future, and will tell them to bring a tin of stroopwafels with them. =)

Andy is truly the humble superhost! He always ensured that everything was alright. He and his family always made delicious coffee when I rose and shone. I slept pretty well because of the comfy bed! Mali House is perfectly located in the centre of the city, which means that if you heads out of Mali House, you will immediately find both morning and night markets!

Andy is a superhost! He is very friendly and can give you all the secrets of LPB! We visited a few not so touristic places because of him, and had a great time doing so. The place is clean and very well located. During the day you get to see the vibrant morning market, but it's all quiet in the evening.

can’t recommend Mali House enough. location is great, super clean and pretty new place, and Andy definitely goes the extra mile for you. probably the best guest house in my 2-months long travel across Asia.

All good!

Located right in the middle of the morning market but it did not bother our sleep at all. Hot water in the shower was lovely. Well located in Luang Prabang, easy walking to many locations. Andy is a great host. Gave us many suggestions. No breakfast but excellent coffee available at the guesthouse. Beds were very comfy, room was small but also had a useable balcony with comfy chairs. Lots of outlets for plugging in electronics. I would definitely stay again!

I loved every moment of my stay here! Andy and Venus are warm, generous hosts and very interesting to talk to. Andy made great recommendations for places to eat as well as helping with where to book train tickets and the best way to get to and from the station. I had a wonderful room facing the morning market with a delightful balcony. Wooden shutters kept both the mosquitoes and noise out evening/early morning and it was clean and spacious. Did I mention the delicious Lao coffee??!! Americans were buying it to take back home! Thank you, Andy and Venus for a memorable stay - I hope to return sometime

Andy is THE MAN! Just fabulous to grab a cup of perfect coffee from Mali House, and then step directly into the morning market, and look for some type of breakfast you have never had before. Does not get any better than that!

We have been travelling around Asia for a couple of months and Mali House was easily the best place we have stayed on our trip. The host Andy went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time during our stay. He was always on hand to give us advice on things to do around the town and to help us organize transport for after our stay. The room we stayed in was amazing with a really nice balcony, comfy bed and the best rain shower in South East Asia! We will definitely stay here again if we return to Luang Prabang. This place was perfect. No complaints.

The friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced in all my years of travel. Family owned and lovely. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Luang Prabang. Clean rooms. Can get laundry service, fresh coffee, outdoor seating where wifi can reach. Also, the location is fantastic. Can access the night market and the river easily, just a block away.

if you were staying for a long time, the room we were in was a bit small for two people.

Andy was a wonderful host, who helped organise a tour for us and great to talk to. The rooms were clean, comfortable and secure and the location was superb. coffee was the best in Laos too!

Inconsistency in housekeeping but that was quickly resolved.

Location and newness of the property. Andy, the host was superb in giving us advice on things to do and even helped to guide us on hiring bikes, getting a private Songtheaw to the waterfalls, get our laundry picked up and returned. Thank you Andy and the team at Mali House.
